Part of Nigel Biggar’s article in The Sunday Times today, reminding us that a careful reading of history, by an historian who know what he’s talking about, is a big improvement on what too often passes for debate about slavery reparations.

🚨 NEW: “His presentation made me uncomfortable, but I quickly understood that saying so would not be acceptable. Colleagues applauded and celebrated him. You couldn’t simply ask: what on earth is he doing?”
A former Oxford postgraduate student writes for [Un]Captured about her experience of lecturer Matt Rattley - and why she feared speaking openly would damage her career.
She wasn’t taught by him, but saw him around the college regularly. She explains why the culture surrounding him affected her too.

Justice Clarence Thomas cited Thomas Sowell 7 times in the Supreme Court’s 2023 ruling against affirmative action.
In his concurring opinion, Justice Thomas drew on Sowell’s work to argue that:
1) Race-based admissions harm the very students they are intended to help, 2) Racial groups should not be treated as “monolithic” categories, and 3) Racial disparities cannot automatically be attributed to discrimination.
Justice Thomas referenced five of Sowell’s books: Affirmative Action Around the World (2004), Race and Culture (1994), Wealth, Poverty and Politics (2016), Ethnic America (1981), and Education: Assumptions Versus History (1986).

First things first. Israel has an absolute right to exist as a Jewish state, and there will be no peace until the genocidal terrorists who are suicidally determined to exterminate the Jews are themselves exterminated. The Jews are the senior occupants of what is still widely known as the Holy Land, having been there for more than 5,000 years. The British in 1917 effectively promised the old Roman province of Palestine to both the Jews and the Muslim and Christian Arabs; it was like selling the same real estate to two parties at the same time with predictable results.
If the surrounding Arab powers had accepted the original borders of Israel as proposed by the UN, it would be barely half of its present size. But by unleashing an aggressive war to try to strangle the Jewish state in its cradle and being defeated in 1948, 1967, and 1973, they facilitated the enlargement of Israel. On several occasions Israel has given back substantial territory in transactions of land for peace—in fact returning land to Arab countries who had lost wars they had started in exchange for ceasefires that they almost immediately violated. The U.S. Carter administration’s failures helped remove the Shah of Iran, who was replaced by a militantly genocidal pseudo-theocracy dedicated to exterminating the Jewish people; the only American presidents who have seriously known what they were doing in the Middle East were Truman, Nixon, and Trump.
It seems to have been largely forgotten that the present conflict was caused by Hamas’s invasion of Israel, the massacre of 1,200 Jews in the most barbarous circumstances, and the seizure of 250 hostages—an uncontestable act of war. The United Nations has played a shameful anti-Israel role: if you have peace, you don’t need peacekeepers, and if you have war, peacekeepers are useless. Despite a campaign of defamatory hysteria, Israeli forces have caused an extraordinarily small number of civilian casualties by the standards of urban counterguerrilla warfare, especially since Hamas makes no secret of its willingness to run up civilian deaths.
The only road to peace is Israeli victory; no nation could wish peace more than Israel does, but when the enemy is prepared to die to achieve a genocidal objective, he must die.

Tusk says acting illegally and against the Rule of Law is "necessary" to defend the Law.
In 63BC Cicero said the same.
20 years later his state collapsed, his property was seized, he was killed and his hands nailed to the Senate door.

🚨 POWERFUL!! A Polish member of the European Parliament whose grandfather FOUGHT communism and whose father helped FOUND Solidarity just begged Americans on Fox.
"Socialism is death, slavery, lack of any freedoms. Please don't do it."
Poland lived through decades of it. "Everyone is equal, equally hungry."
He also quoted Pope John Paul II: "Freedom is not given once and for all."
Three generations of his family fought for freedom.
Listen to the people who lived it!

There are a million clips like this now, of Democrats talking about their plans for total scorched-earth warfare against everyone on the right after they win.
Weird how there’s not one clip of them talking about their big plans to lower gas prices or make groceries more affordable.
You know, the things they ran on.
Spoiler alert — they have zero plan to do anything they campaigned on. There is no affordability agenda. They don’t care about gas prices. In fact they’ve spent the last few decades trying to shut down oil production entirely. Blue states have the highest energy prices in the country. They’re lying.
Their only plan is to use power to hurt the people they don’t like. You don’t even have to take my work for it, they’re talking about it nonstop.
🚨 WOW! Traitor Elissa Slotkin just got caught on undercover video admitting they’re going after Trump and his cabinet.
She said Democrats already have “signature cases” lined up for EVERY committee to prosecute the most “egregious” ones the moment they take the majority.
She even went to Hungary to study how they cleaned up after removing their “authoritarian leader.” Then she named the White House ballroom, the reflecting pool, and $200 million from Defense.
“That’s what you’ll see basically in January.”
These people are absolutely sick. They are everything they claim Trump is. 👇

Whether motivated by hatred of National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir or corrupt funding by Qatar, the huge mobilisation of Israeli Arabs at this election was the democratic version of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” of October 7.
In both Israel and the West, public bamboozlement is so great that deliriously energised Islamists believe they’re now within sight of victory over both. To prevent that, governments in Israel, Britain and America need to wake up to the jihadi threat they are facing.

YES. This is exactly what they will do. They’ve said as much for years.
Statehood for DC & Puerto Rico. Blanket amnesty. Court packing. Permanent one-party rule.
Vote Republican. Everything else is secondary.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

An Arab Michigan voter reveals he’s terrified of electing Abdul El-Sayed:
“I was born in Iraq, and as a baby, my parents decided to leave the country. The ideology of Abdul El-Sayed scares me in a sense of I’m going to be reliving the life that my parents desperately tried to escape.”

As a lifelong dog lover who views these loyal animals as beloved family members and cherished pets that share our homes, beds, and hearts, people often ask me why I don’t like Islam and why I believe it has no place in America.
There are many reasons why, but one clear reason is the treatment of dogs in Islam as ritually impure creatures that are banned from living inside the home.
That worldview is embodied by Abdulraman Mohamed El-Sayed @AbdulElSayed, the Islamic-communist nominee for U.S. Senate in Michigan, who as Director of the Detroit Health Department starting in 2015, directly oversaw Detroit Animal Control during a scandal where the kill rate hit 74%.
Under El-Sayed, the kennels at Detroit Animal Control were flooded with feces and urine, the facility was infested with cockroaches and rats, and whistleblowers went on the record to call it a “slaughterhouse” because so many dogs were dying.
Abdul’s Islamic ideology has no place in the US Senate.
His barbaric worldview puts Amercians at risk, and it also endangers our beloved pets.
When Muslims get elected to office, dogs become less safe. We owe it to our dogs to make sure Abdul loses this election.

This guy is classic. He asks Grok to tell him why I'm wrong. Grok tells him that I'm right.
So he goes on a ten-post rant, unsuccessfully trying to get Grok to agree with him and calling Grok all kinds of names when Grok continues to say I'm right …
… hilarious.

I broke the story about Abdul El-Sayed’s @AbdulElSayed Muslim Brotherhood ties EIGHT YEARS AGO, and now President Trump @realDonaldTrump is citing my reporting at his rallies, confirming this guy is a JIHADIST who signed a pledge of allegiance to a designated Islamic terrorist organization.
Barack Obama @BarackObama knew all about El-Sayed's terror ties, yet he still campaigned for him in Detroit this weekend while endorsing Angie Nixon @AngieNixon, whose communist bookstore is decorated with photos of COP KILLERS.
If @TheDemocrats win in 2026 after the President EXPOSED their terror ties, just imagine the monsters they will run in 2028. America will not survive if these radicals take power!

Apparently, being cited by someone on the ‘hard right’ is now enough to make you guilty by association.
That is the Guardian’s case against me. It has published an article about my opposition to the Church of England’s £100 million slavery reparations scheme, smearing me through supposed links with Restore Britain and associating our campaign with wealthy financiers.
Yet its evidence of my ‘hard right’ connections amounts to a Restore Britain paper citing my work. As for Paul Marshall, he has never funded our campaign.
What about my arguments against reparations? What opposing reasons and evidence did the Guardian offer? None whatsoever.
