Another thing I have noticed in the Social Security debate is that there is a clear generational divide... Most Boomers are willing to continue robbing future generations to pay for their benefits. Most Gen-Xer's are willing to walk away from their benefits to protect future generations. What I don't understand is that it seems the values that lead Gen-Xer's to lean this way were instilled in us by the Boomers who raised us.
