No privilege. No playbook. Moez Malik Khattak (NBS 2017) drove fintech at Maya & scaled Careem in MENA, all by leaning into the unknown. A leader who builds with heart & lifts others as he climbs.
From Hunza to IBM, Khushal Karim (SNS 2021) shows how resilience, not just a resume, opens doors. Now a Data Engineer, he’s committed to mentoring students from non-tech backgrounds into data careers.
Najam’s Journey: Precision Meets Purpose
From defense systems to the British Council, Najam (SEECS '18) blends engineering with impact. Purpose, grit, and growth define his path.

We were glad to welcome Mr. Abdul Wahid (MCS 1997) back to NUST on February 14, 2024! As Director of Evolution Systems, Mr. Wahid met with Principal USPCASE Dr. Adeel Waqas to explore collaborative opportunities with NUST.
During his visit, Mr. Wahid shared valuable
insights with our students on "Decoding Career Choices: Traditional Employment vs Entrepreneurship." His guidance on the pros and cons of each path left our students inspired and informed!
Not stopping there, Mr. Wahid also took a tour of NSTP, and recorded his story for
our "Ties that Bind" series too. We eagerly anticipate future collaborations and endeavors together.
