Well. I already had an Insta account and rarely posted there, because I don’t always have a photo to post. I wonder how Threads will do? Who else is here? 👀

I’m so thankful for the Rae’ders. I’m in such a rough time of my life and they’ve been the most wonderful, supportive, encouraging friends I could ask for. 😭 Stream has been a source of comfort for me lately and I’m so happy for that. 💜 Feels good to be back at it.

🔴 It'll be an extra cozy ACNH day today, me thinks! It's Marlo's birthday, so we'll party with our resident mobster and then work on a few houses in HHP. 💜 twitch.tv/amalirae

Twitch's Hype Chat is not a true 70/30 split. They take an initial 5% fee (MUCH higher than average transaction fees) & then 30% of what's left. Meanwhile, YouTube covers all transaction costs. This is a huge cut and I can't see why any streamer would want to use this.
From Twitch FAQ: What is the Hype Chat revenue share? Hype Chat's revenue share is 70/30 of net revenue. There is a 5% fee on web purchases to cover transaction costs. YouTube: Creators receive 70% of Supers revenue that is confirmed by Google. The 70% is calculated after local sales tax and App Store fees on iOS are deducted. Transaction costs, including credit card fees, are currently covered by YouTube. According to Forbes, the average credit card processing fee ranges between 1.5% and 3.5%.

🔴 We're LIVE! We hit 3 stars on Cherrywood yesterday, so we have a KK Slider concert to attend. We'll probably do another villager hunt today, and hopefully (finally) start HHP. 😅 twitch.tv/amalirae
