Creating an end-of-year 2020 report/newsletter on our work in the Peruvian Amazon was tough, and although it's been mostly horrifying, there have been incredibly beautiful moments and several great advances in our programs. lnkd.in/eiMe2ra

#GivingTuesday, Amazon Promise needs your help to continue providing desperately needed medical care, clean water, and other urgent health services to indigenous and other peoples of the Peruvian Amazon. Making the world a healthier, safer place for all. amazonpromise.org/index.php/…

Iquitos, Peru.COVID-19 17 physicians lost from lack of PPE and no oxygen. The corruption and lack of leadership have brought this region to its knees with no end in sight. We continue providing food aid and medical care. link.shutterfly.com/i92EhbGP…

Today, we're delivering food aid to families who cannot make it to the distribution point. Nahomi is a young mother who lives with her little brother. We will begin the larger distribution shortly. So many are in need, and with your help, we're reaching them, one by one.

Yesterday, we began distributing desperately needed food aid to families living in the flooded lower zone of Belen, just outside of Iquitos, Peru. With your donation of $32, we can provide enough food to a family in need that will last two-weeks. amazonpromise.org/index.php/…
