If the Library of Alexandria had not been burned, we would already be among the stars. Since the dawn of time, a caste of priests imposed upon humanity a cyclical vision of time. There was to be no past, no future—only an eternal present. Man was to be kept in place, trapped, powerless. The story of mankind was one of darkness. Yet from age to age, great men arose—lovers of light, bearers of hope. They dared to tell their fellow men that destiny existed, that even the smallest person could change the course of the future. They taught the linear vision of time, the path of science, the sacred quest for knowledge. And in doing so, they unleashed the potential of man. The Tower of Prometheus will rises in an ascending spiral, sculpted with the history of mankind. Made of quartzite, the most enduring stone known to man, it will be built to defy millions of years. Should civilization ever fall into shadow again, this gigantic monument will be found. It will reveal to future civilization the secret of their origin, the profound will of men to discover the secrets of the universe, and inspire them to be among the stars. The Tower of Prometheus is our gift to the future.

It will be the greatest artistic achievement in human history. A colossal pyramidal tower, rising in a spiral ascent, designed for people to walk upon — its wall sculpted with the entirety of human history, winding upward like a Spiral of the Ages. As visitors ascend this monumental path, the Great Wall will unfold before their eyes — a vast fresco narrating the saga of Human Civilization. From the dawn of prehistory to the modern era, it will portray human history as a triumph over darkness. We will form a council of historians and philosophers to craft the most universal history of mankind—one that will remain comprehensible even to a civilization a million years from now. A view of history that will transcend our generation, uniting us in the pursuit of a grandiose future. The pedestal, carved from quartzite—the most enduring stone known—will ensure that, millions of years from now, any future civilization that discovers it will grasp the origins of their existence. It is true that we have lost our way. If Art ever served a purpose, I cannot imagine a more functional creation. This work will guide us back on track, force upon us the weight of the Ages, and oriente us toward a bright future. People will travel from all corners of the world to undertake the climb, to experience the journey through human history. And when, after a long and arduous ascent, they reach the summit—arriving to the current era—they will encounter the gigantic titanium statue of Prometheus. There, they will renew their promise to human flourishing.

The New Statue of Liberty in the Making! 150 years ago, France offered that gift to the USA — an ode to the ideal of Liberty, funded by the people, with no government involvement. But time went by… and the light has faded… The Flame of the West must be revived! We, the last foundry of France, will forge it from titanium, so the Great Promethean Statue may withstand millions of years!

A civilization with a dream is unstoppable. A very long time ago, we had a dream of eternity. But it was forgotten, and we lost our raison d'être. It is time to dream again. Building this titanium statue, with a pedestal carved out of quartzite, will be a whisper of hope for millions of years to come.

French politician wants to take back the Statue of Liberty. First of all, this man does not speak on behalf of the French people; he is the perfect prototype of the tax-loving socialist who has destroyed our great civilization for the past 50 years. The French people paid for this statue, it was a gift between two great nations. It is a shame that a politician can so easily brag about a great statue that bears the weight of the centuries. For 50 years, they’ve done everything they could to destroy every glimpse of hope we had as a civilization. We should know it as the last sculpture foundry in France, which has been under attack for a year to have our statue of Joan of Arc taken down. Throughout human history, from time to time, great thinkers have shared with their fellow men this linear view of time, the vision of a bright future. These great men were persecuted by priests, who imposed the cyclical view of time on the people. It was the genius of the West, with Rome, and later with the Enlightenment, that the linear view of time spread throughout the world. The Statue of Liberty was a tribute to this optimism for a bright future. And today, this optimism, this New Scientific Revolution, doesn’t take place in Europe; it takes place in the USA. So, please, keep the Statue of Liberty. And expect something new from us, the French people. Today we make a promise: we will build a gigantic statue, a tribute to the linear view of time, a New Statue of Liberty. We will build it with titanium so that it will endure millions of years and remind humanity of the future, to keep pushing forward. PS: To the Speaker of the White House, talking trash about the French politician is normal, but to the French people? If it weren’t for us, you would still be chanting “God save the Queen”!!
