Btwโฆ just because Iโm a "yank" doesnโt mean I donโt get to have an opinion about Eurovision or doesnโt mean Iโm not allowed to be a Eurofan. To anyone saying that calm down, we know the UK gets zero points almost every year ๐๐๐.
Iโm gonna make it clear even though people probably wonโt listen, I donโt support Israel and I absolutely have sympathy for Palestine going through this genocide that the Israeli government is responsible for. I understand the cause for the boycotts
I am just upset about the boycotts continuing to shrink the contest every year while theyโre not thinking about the people and the artists that actually want their countries participating in Eurovision.
Iโll most likely still watch the 2027 contest. Iโm just sad and disappointed the boycotts are still happening. Iโm allowed to be upset about this and allowed to voice my opinion even if itโs gonna receive some backlash. Iโm not the only Eurofan that is sick of the boycotts.
Also worth mentioning that nobody boycotts the Olympics or World Cup. Idk why Eurovision is different cuz they all have something in common and that is theyโre all have bad leadership when it comes to dealing with Israel. I really donโt think boycotting the contest does anything.
I stand by what I said, Iโm not saying Israel should still compete and forget about the Palestinians suffering. I just wish there was some type of solution to have all of these countries participate without politics ruining the contest instead of boycott.

I just think this is borderline stupid, there are actual people and artists from those countries that wonโt their nations participating at Eurovision. I get the reason why theyโre not competing, but for another year of boycotts I canโt stand this as a Eurofan.
I think Iโll make this official, I already hate Eurovision 2027. Iโm really sick and tired of politics getting involved in the contest. I no longer support any country boycotting, I truly just want as many countries participating in the contest as possible. Iโm sorry everyone.
