So? You act as if players are irrelevant. They are not. Nobody is arguing for coaches to accept less. They argue for fair market value for players. Why are we lamenting player value right now? Because they are commanding more value than ever, and the system wants them restricted. That means a bigger piece of the ever expanding pie for coaches and administrators. You seem to suggest coaches have value untethered to the brand and players don’t. Again, if the brand is so valuable, offer less money. Simple.
