Strengthening partnerships while supporting a meaningful cause.
Our Co-President, Luis Lara, attended Bombardier’s 26th Annual Golf Tournament, an event that brings together business partners to recognize supplier excellence while raising funds for Fondation Jean Lapointe.
We value our relationship with Bombardier and appreciate the opportunity to be part of an initiative that goes beyond business, supporting addiction prevention and treatment programs.
Thank you, Bombardier, for bringing the industry together for such an important cause.

The American Industries team joined FEMIA’s Members’ Plenary Session in Querétaro, reinforcing our commitment to the strategic partnerships that connect Mexico’s aerospace capabilities with global industry opportunities.
Mexico’s competitiveness in aerospace cannot be measured by manufacturing capacity alone. Querétaro’s aerospace ecosystem illustrates how collaboration among manufacturers, industry associations, academic institutions, and public organizations can attract investment, strengthen local supply chains, and expand Mexico’s role in the global industry.
Our work with global aerospace manufacturers such as Boeing, Textron, Bombardier, GKN Aerospace, and Embraer has reinforced an important principle: a strong aerospace industry is built by connecting international investment and expertise with Mexico’s talent, suppliers, and industrial capabilities.
At American Industries, we see every new operation established in Mexico as an opportunity to strengthen that connection. By helping international manufacturers establish a lasting presence in the country, we contribute to an ecosystem where global expertise and local capabilities can grow together.

That impact takes many forms: developing talent prepared to meet the needs of industry, infrastructure that creates new opportunities, initiatives that strengthen security and foreign trade, and greater national and international connectivity.
Today, our presence spans the states of Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon (Monterrey), Durango, San Luis Potosi, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Jalisco (Guadalajara), and Queretaro, as well as the cities of El Paso and Laredo, both in Texas, where Rio Bravo strengthens the connection between operations in Mexico and the United States.
It is also reflected in our commitment to social responsibility and sustainability, through actions focused on people, environmental stewardship, and responsible development.
Throughout our history, the companies we have supported in Mexico have generated more than 200,000 jobs, extending this impact to thousands of families and contributing to the development of their communities.
Because growth also means creating value beyond our organization. That has been our commitment for 50 years: moving forward responsibly, creating opportunities and contributing to greater well-being around us.

The framework for investment in Mexico and the practical realities of establishing a presence in the country were at the center of a special seminar held during IMTS 2026.
American Industries participated alongside the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago and Mexico’s Ministry of Economy in “Investing in Mexico: Building a North American Growth Strategy,” a session covering the Plan Mexico Initiative, Economic Development Hubs and the considerations involved in establishing a manufacturing presence in the country.
The session opened with remarks from Ambassador Reyna Torres Mendivil, Consul General of Mexico in Chicago, followed by Yaxal Canales López, Counselor for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Mexico in Washington, D.C. The American Industries team contributed a practical perspective on establishing a presence in Mexico, covering softlanding, business models and the scope of services available to support international manufacturers.
The session brought together institutional context and practical insight for companies evaluating investment and manufacturing opportunities in Mexico.

IAA Transportation brought together a broad cross-section of the global heavy-duty vehicle industry in Hannover, making it a valuable setting to connect with companies across the sector.
As part of the Invest Monterrey Europe 2026 Trade Mission, our team joined the event alongside an international community that included truck and trailer manufacturers, body builders, suppliers and technology companies. More than 70% of exhibitors came from outside Germany, with the event bringing together more than 766 suppliers and 240 body manufacturers.
The sector has particular relevance for the Monterrey-Saltillo region, where Daimler Trucks, Mercedes-Benz Buses, International and Volvo are part of an established heavy-duty vehicle manufacturing cluster. The presence of these manufacturers has contributed to the development of a strong industrial ecosystem and supplier base around the region.
Being at IAA Transportation allowed us to connect with companies from across this industry, share more about the capabilities available in Mexico and discuss the opportunities for companies looking to expand or strengthen their North American presence.

International business opportunities develop through meaningful connections between companies, local stakeholders and the market knowledge needed to understand where they can grow.
In Thüringen, American Industries joined LEG Thüringen and Invest Monterrey for a business seminar at LBBW’s offices, as part of the Invest Monterrey Europe 2026 Trade Mission.
The discussion focused on Monterrey and the opportunities it offers for companies considering Mexico, with space to answer questions about doing business in the country and share experiences from across the delegation.
Bringing together different perspectives allowed for a broader conversation around Mexico, the interests of European companies and the opportunities for stronger business ties between both markets.
Thank you to LEG Thüringen, Invest Monterrey and LBBW for hosting us, and to the team for joining the conversation and sharing their experience.

Building stronger connections between European industry and Mexico starts with getting closer to the companies shaping these markets.
As part of the Invest Monterrey Europe 2026 Trade Mission, our team was in Gothenburg meeting with companies and industry leaders to learn more about their operations, priorities and plans for the North American market.
One of these meetings took us to the Volvo Trucks plant, where we had the opportunity to spend time with the team, share lunch and tour the facility. Many thanks to Invest Monterrey and Héctor Tijerina for coordinating the visit, and to Darya Fiadulava and Fredrik Ivarsson for the warm welcome.
We also had a conversation with Peter Setterstig, Head of Tuve Plant, who shared insights into Volvo’s priorities, including one of its must-wins: to secure strong positions in key markets with focus on North America.
Visits like this gave us the opportunity to better understand the priorities of leading companies in Europe and strengthen the connections that can support future business opportunities across North America.

-Shelter and Administrative Services: Human resources, payroll, foreign trade, tax and legal compliance, finance, procurement, IT, and operational administration.

Story of Greatness: Alliances
Throughout our history, alliances have been fundamental to strengthening our evolution and amplifying our impact.
At American Industries, we understand that growth is not built in isolation, but through solid, strategic, and complementary relationships that connect capabilities, bring visions together, and create shared value.
Collaboration with business allies, institutions, chambers, organizations, governments, academia, and national and international allies has been key to driving projects, opening new opportunities, and strengthening the development of the communities where we operate.
This synergy shows that, when different capabilities come together with a common purpose, the result goes beyond a simple sum: it becomes a force capable of transforming ideas into actions and actions into results.
Thank you to every partner that has been part of this journey. Your trust, collaboration, and commitment have made it possible to build relationships that go beyond individual projects and become a shared vision for the future.
Let us continue strengthening the bonds that drive industry development, open new opportunities, and allow us to move forward with greater reach, strength, and impact, for the good of Mexico, the industry, and, of course, our clients.
Because when we move forward together, the future is built with greater strength.

Manufacturers don't fail at nearshoring because they picked the wrong country. They fail because they picked the wrong region.
Mexico isn't one market — it's a dozen, each with its own labor pool, logistics profile, and incentive package.
Before you shortlist a city, ask:
→ Is the workforce I need actually available here, or am I competing with five other plants for the same 200 people?
→ How far am I from my suppliers, my customers, and the border?
→ Is the infrastructure ready today, or am I waiting 18 months for power and permits?
→ What's the government actually offering, and is it real or just a pitch deck?
Get the region right, and everything downstream — cost, speed to production, retention — gets easier.
We broke down the key questions Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee manufacturers should ask before choosing a region in Mexico 👉 hub.americanindustriesgroup.…

Indiana produces more manufacturing output per capita than any
other state — and feels the labor squeeze harder than any other
state too: 79 workers available for every 100 open jobs.
For steel, automotive, and medical device suppliers already
serving Tier-1 customers in Mexico, that math is shifting fast.

Ohio is the nation's 3rd-largest manufacturing workforce — and
it's moving toward semiconductors, defense, and medical devices.
The constraint isn't demand or capital. It's that 70% of new
roles are skilled technician positions, and Ohio has 35,000+
of those openings a year.

Automotive is Tennessee's #1 industry — but with GM, VW, Nissan,
and Ford all anchored in-state, any OEM shift hits the entire
supplier base at once.
Add the tightest labor market of the three roadshow states (78
workers per 100 open jobs), and Mexico capacity stops being
optional for a lot of Tier-1/2 suppliers.
