Thank you to @danralphcp at @CanadianPress for covering this extremely important story about how Canada's restrictive tax laws are hurting the horse racing industry

Thanks for the writeup, Dave. Our mission as a family and operation is to bring wellbred lines back to Canada to produce great racehorses!!! The TIP makes it a bit easier for small breeders to compete and rejuvenate the broodmare band regularly.
TIP’s expanded Mare Purchase Program - now featuring $750,000 in total funding - offers a tremendous incentive for Ontario breeders to upgrade their broodmare bands.

Shrewd purchase by an operation that is growing internationally as an owner & breeder. Winner of 3 straight & from the family of Enable!!
Dashmesh Stud has been active at Keeneland in recent years aswell, adding to an already illustrious new chapter.
Just bought the sales topper at @tatts_online October Sale. Darn Hot Gallop (by Too Darn Hotout of a sister to Enable). She was in training with James Tate. The three year old filly will continue her racing career in France for @EcurieBaratti before going to @HCadran as a broodmare. It was never the intention to be the sales topper but she was too good to pass up with all that @JuddmonteFarms blood running through her 😃

Wickenheiser was bred to Karakontie, smart choice. Glad to see her continue a 2nd career with a great ownership group.

Racing horses doesn't make you a farmer, so a little common sense from Ottawa would go a long way. Canuck is proud to be among the lead voices advocating for fair tax treatment of Canada's horse racing industry and the thousands of jobs it supports.

Can anyone more familiar with @pedigrees360 explain what it means to have “46 instances of mitochondrial DNA” because it sounds like either a misunderstanding of some P360 metric or just plain nonsense and I’m not sure what to make of it
