A senior Wisconsin Democratic adviser has signed an affidavit with a big allegation.
It claims David Crowley made his July endorsement of Sara Rodriguez for governor conditional on $250,000 for future political activity, plus a paid job for his wife.
It also alleges Rodriguez directed the talks.
Crowley's campaign denies ALL of it.
No record shows money changing hands so far.
But if it's true, that's an endorsement for sale in a governor's race.
Wisconsin voters deserve a straight answer before Nov. 3, not just a denial.

The Election Day hasn't even arrived and we already have problems. The Board of Supervisors and their election department are already failing. Apparently, they're not too concerned, which has been my experience since I've lived here.
Years of failure and there's been no change. I'm betting this year will be no different. Those who wait until election day stand a good chance of struggling to find a place to vote.
A GOP poll watcher says Maricopa's primary problems weren't fixed: broken tabulators at 3 of 10 vote centers he visited, site books failing at 8 of 10.
The county says voters were never prevented from casting ballots.

Last night, Facebook deleted Tina Peters’ page.
The “Real Tina Peters” page is gone, with no warning and no explanation.
The timing: right after 60 Minutes aired a segment accusing her of attacking elections “from within.” She was pushing back, and now she can’t.
It didn’t stop with her. My own Facebook reach was cut to zero overnight, and Rumble followed.
When the people questioning the narrative get erased while the network that attacked them gets a national platform, that isn’t content moderation. It’s picking a side.
And it’s happening just days before Colorado votes on November 3.
Mark Zuckerberg’s platform has decided which voices you’re allowed to hear before you fill out your ballot. We believe that’s election interference, and we’re filing a lawsuit immediately.
