Today was our author’s celebration! These Ss have worked so hard on their personal narratives. They celebrated by reading their classmates stories, left compliments and read to their buddies in @WannToLearn’s class! Thanks @MrsHanlinESOL for your support though the process!

Now that we have learned how our classroom library is organized and the procedure for checking out books, today, we dug into the baskets to create a wish list of books we can’t wait to read for our 40 Book Challenge! @EllisSoars

Today we celebrated these first year teachers at our Finale Rally! The things they have been able to accomplish with our Explorers this year are remarkable! Thank you to the mentors for guiding and encouraging these novice teachers all year! @EllisSoars

A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Strahan for coming to classroom to teach us about the scientific process. We experimented to see what types of liquids make polymer water beads grow the largest. Next we will showcase our findings on our science fair boards! @EllisSoars

4th grade authors shared their informational nonfiction books about planets with their 1st grade buddies in @beckwith_aimee class! 4th graders also had the opportunity to complement their peers on a job well done! @EllisSoars

What’s better than a book tasting of new books for our classroom library!?! NOTHING! Nothing is better then new books! Ss had a blast previewing them and got to chose one of their favorites to take home and read over the weekend!! ⁦@EllisSoars⁩
