2) An at par or lower USD lowers the amount of debt owed to Canada. We are the 5th largest holder of American debt. The higher USD allows us a bigger yield should we call that debt in.
3) The value of Canada's currency rises and falls depending on many factors. The value of USD
Shifts if the USA sells off things that keep their dollar stable. Things like gold reserves. So it could tank Gold stocks if the sell off large quantities which many ppl invest in because it has remained consistent.
