Yesterday we held our Open Morning and were blown away by our lovely visitors who came to look around for a place for Reception 2022. It was a pleasure to share our school with you and we look forward to seeing families again soon.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual fireworks event which was incredible to have back for 2021! We have never seen as many people at this event before and it shows that, having been kept away for so long, we are all craving events like this…
To see our #community come together and support the event and the school was just incredible and we cannot thank everyone who attended enough! With the record numbers that we saw last night-the PTFA are already looking at how next year can be bigger and better than ever!

Class France had a lovely surprise visit from the Snowden ducklings Artur and Teddie! We had a lovely time holding them and looking at them close up.
We can’t wait for these brand new reading books to start being read by the children-they’re absolutely beautiful, engaging and have high interest levels...thanks to @risingstarsedu for sending us early copies of these brand new titles!
Class USA have been utterly inspired by blackout poetry this week- the children carefully selected words from our class novel to create their individual poems. Creativity at its best! #lettersfromthelighthouse @emmac2603
Class China 🇨🇳 have been exploring Greek Mythology this week. Our focus today is Pandora’s box. The children have been expanding their knowledge through role play 📦 Very curious learners we have in Year 3 #ancasterrocks #knowledge
