I was going to type something up on $OPEN this morning, but this post shares my sentiment entirely and more well said than I could do.
Not phased by the short term. Mission remains the same.

I see so many posts about $OPEN brutal sell-off yesterday, so here are my thoughts:
- I still trust the management to be competent, it's not common to see this level of honesty and transparency
- holding the stock sucks, IF you are not used to own high-volatility stock, yes, it's brutal. yes, that's part of the stock market game. welcome! but if you already did not sell immediately when the macro turned - meaning - we found out that rates need to go up, instead of down, as we were expecting in dec 25, jan 26. now it's too late, unless you think, they will go bankrupt. now, you will be selling into brutal capitulation, and at least me, I'am here for the long game, holding for stock to 50x. and I can do the financial model for that path, it's NOT my fantasy, retail frenzy or sth like that. there is market for that here.
- I'm from Europe and the transactional inefficiencies in US real estate market are INSANE, that why my general bet here is very simple - there is sh*t ton of money being spent on unnecessary things when American ppl are buying their homes, $OPEN needs to cut this transactional bullsh*t and make it smoother, better and more ONLINE, more like 21st century stuff. if they do it, they will earn sh*t ton on money on the way.
- why does it take so long? because the industry is full of regulatory barriers - mortgages? quite a hassle to do that? title, escrow? not that easy either. hopefully OMG getting rid of real estate agents? that is a big one.
why this regulatory bullsh*t could be quite a good thing for you as a shareholder? because it just simply filters out the competition for Opendoor. that's why the industry is so DIFFICULT. short term it sucks, long term it could benefit the company.
- so am I still holding? yes. I'm not selling for $1.4 😂 no fking way 🙂 shorts won this year, and what? congratz guys! good job.
I can still make hundres of % returns, those who are short can only make 100% 🙂, I'm not here for 100% 😂 that's not my game.
know your game and play in accordingly 🙂

I’m here! Enjoying my day 🌞
Price action is a doozy but I’ve placed my bets on the team and trust them to execute
Out of ammo for $OPEN this week. But I’ll keep working my weekends and be back to buy more Monday. 😎

To the $OPEN shareholders or ex-shareholders whining all over X today:
You bought a distressed company attempting a massive turnaround in a distressed housing market. What exactly did you expect this to look like?
If your response to a $1.50 share price is “it’s Kaz’s fault” or “it’s the board’s fault,” without any discussion of the business, its valuation, or the turnaround itself, I question whether you understood what you bought.
Management deserves scrutiny. But a falling stock price, by itself, isn’t an analysis.
This is going to be messy. They might figure it out. They might not. Failure is a real possibility, and conviction doesn’t make that risk disappear.
I’m long $OPEN because I believe the potential upside justifies the risk. It’s an asymmetric bet I’m willing to take, and I intend to remain long as long as that thesis holds.
If you need a smooth ride and constant reassurance, go buy the S&P 500.
You don’t have to own Opendoor. But if you do, understand what you own and size the position so you can handle being wrong.
Not seeing the button to sell my kidney (left) for more $OPEN shares on RH
@vladtenev please address!
$OPEN earnings this afternoon! 🔥
Enjoy the ride, if you’re long the journey continues regardless.
Going to buy some shares today, keep some dry powder for tomorrow. March on to 16k shares. 🏠🫡

Did you catch $OPEN now letting you buy & sell houses it never owns?
This is HUGE. Kaz is launching products for homes Opendoor never buys
Another step to separate itself from platforms like Zillow that just show listings
Now you own your home, do your own transaction, and use Opendoor as the platform
$OPEN is just a matter of time and scale.
Buy shares at $1.80 now or $18 next year. Your call.
Today, we are launching Buy with Opendoor in beta in Texas. Use all of Opendoor’s scale to buy any home, Opendoor’s or not.
Save tens of thousands of dollars on your mortgage and fees.

$OPEN Q3 Earnings
Q3 earnings Thursday. Kaz’s bar is 3.2 to 3.5 percent contribution margin on 10 to 15 percent growth. Even at the low end, contribution profit is still up 70 to 75 percent year over year — that’s the number bears can’t touch. ANI should land near breakeven or slightly positive on a run-rate. GAAP’ll show a loss north of $100 million — about $110 million a quarter in SBC from Kaz’s RSUs vesting through 2030, hurdles from $9 to $33, stock at $1.80. Ignore it. Watch ANI and the Q4 guide. Above $1.2 billion is the signal.

We are very close to being able to open up Opendoor's scale advantage to everyone who wants to buy a home, whether that is an Opendoor home or not.
$SRXH PR 🔥🔥
Buyback is active ✅
Sitting on 34M cash as of today 💰
I’m glad they responded to my strongly worded email from this morning requesting improved communication of positive developments (among other things)📝📝 😂😎

Alright, fuck these puff pieces for current $SRXH C-suite about bringing “shareholder value”. I’d love to see it, but I don’t think they can. We all invested in @ericjackson and I’m about out of patience waiting for the rest of them to show us they are aligned with the full transformation to EMJX. Time is up. ⏳
