It's municipal election day in Ontario! Wherever you are, VOTE! And as any good Mississauga resident will tell you, it's important to do your homework. Know who your candidates are and vote for someone who will do the best job for your family and community. Good luck, all!

Burlington, please vote today. The last provincial election had only a 39 vote margin. Your vote matters! #Burlon

Today, I launched, Health Care for All, a plan to rebuild our publicly funded health system that Ford’s PCs have spent 8 years tearing down. It fixes what’s broken now. · supporting seniors age at home · proactively keeping people healthy · a primary team for every Ontarian · expanded public coverage for mental health, starting with youth · properly supporting hospitals, and ending overcharging by private providers. And it replaces the PC’s short-sighted approach with a forward-thinking commitment to ensure our health system remains universal and is ready for generations to come. Let’s rebuild publicly funded health care together. leefairclough.ca/en-ca/campa…

How can Ontario spend money advertising health-care worker recruitment while hospitals are reporting nursing cuts? The Health Ministry spent more than $13.3 million on advertising in 2025–26, including $1.94 million on health-care worker recruitment. #onpoli

Rub a dub dub... And the status of this RCMP investigation is.... three years+ of pencil sharpening while journalists are doing the digging. #onpoli
EXCLUSIVE: The day Premier Doug Ford’s cabinet approved the government’s ill-fated Greenbelt changes, several key figures rubbed shoulders in a private box at a Toronto Maple Leafs game. It's detailed in a previously confidential Integrity Commissioner report on John Mutton.

Students who have put countless hours into their education at a career college that passed ministry inspections are not responsible for the developing OSAP scandal, yet they're the ones paying the price. #FixOSAPASAP #onpoli

Thanks to @ColinDMello for this chat yesterday. Why are voters in Peel, Toronto, Ottawa, Thames Valley, York, and Near North being denied support for our children and our schools? Aren’t we important to this govt? What’s going on with this Minister? #onted #onpoli @fordnation
Hey Ontario! This proposed regulatory change is open for comment until today. Let the government know what you think about Paul Calandra's plan to ignore the results of Monday's elections, and make your plan to vote. #onted #onpoli regulatoryregistry.gov.on.ca…

Seriously? Stan's back...and with a raise? At the same time as hard working teachers, custodians and education workers are on month 3 of an expired contract, with no talks planned, just games from @PaulCalandra?!! This govt is a total disgrace. Shame! #onted #onpoli
NEW: Education Minister Paul Calandra tells me he's "very excited" to have Stan Cho on his team, and that the "quality of his work since he's been an MPP is literally second to none." Premier Ford announced Cho will be joining Calandra’s team as a parliamentary assistant — just three months after Cho resigned from cabinet for charging taxpayers $16,000 in Toronto hotel stays. The new role comes with a $22,500 pay bump. Ford declined to comment. Story: thetrillium.ca/insider-news/…

This is the political equivalent of a two-minute stay in the penalty box. This government doesn’t care about taxpayer accountability. #onpoli
NEW - The Premier‘s office releases an updated list of parliamentary assistants. Notably, Stan Cho is named parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Education. Cho resigned as Minister of Tourism Culture and Gaming in July amid a scandal over hotel expenses.

Ontario now has the highest number of problem gamblers in Canada. @LFairclo & I introduced a bill to ban online gambling ads because the warning signs were there, but the PCs voted it down. We couldn't afford to wait then, & we certainly can't afford to wait any longer. #onpoli

These shenanigans is why people are cynical about politics.
NEW: Former tourism minister Stan Cho, who resigned from Premier Ford's cabinet after facing criticism for spending thousands on Toronto hotel rooms despite living in the city, has been named parliamentary assistant to Education Minister Paul Calandra. #onpoli

$117 million would cover the cost of employment of 1695 educational assistants for your kids' schools. You got ads telling you how good things are in Ontario instead. #onted #onpoli #cutshurtkids
NEW: The Ford government has broken its own record for ad spending. Internal documents show its advertising bill climbed to more than $117 million last year, according to internal documents — the highest total in a single year in Ontario’s history. The #Ontario government pulling the financial rug out from legitimate vulnerable students because IT turned a blind eye after being warned three years ago about some bad actors is willfully cruel and unconscionable. #Resign #OSAP #onppli

Nurses fired. Students losing OSAP. Schools crumbling. People struggling to survive. But don't worry! Doug Ford just broke another record, spending $117 MILLION of your money on government ads telling you how he's "Protecting Ontario." Ford couldn't be more out of touch. #onpoli thetrillium.ca/news/governme…
