I recently stumbled upon spectacular Tolkien artist Paul Raymond Gregory. I added to my #TolkienCollection a limited edition set of Lord of the Rings 50th Anniversary stamps Regency First Day Covers featuring some of his pictures and a DVD of his Tolkien work called Ringquest.
Starting another #Tolkien thread of some of my Tolkien Vinyl records, LPs, EPs and Singles. First up is an LP of Christopher Tolkien reading from The Silmarillion, Darkening of Valinor and Flight of the Noldor, by Caedmon records #TolkienVinyl #TolkienRecords #TolkienCollection
Here we have the soundtrack LP of the Bakshi Lord of the Rings movie, this is a double LP #Tolkien #TolkienVinyl #TolkienRecords #TolkienCollection
Next we have Lord of the Rings by John Sangster, this is a double LP from the 70s and is the first in a trilogy by the artist #Tolkien #TolkienVinyl #TolkienRecords #TolkienCollection
Starting another #Tolkien Collecting thread, this one is featuring my Tolkien Board Games. First up is quite an old one, this is The Hobbit Game by American Publishing Corp from 1976 #TolkienBoardGames #TolkienCollection
The next board game is Riddle of the Ring by ICE from 1985 #TolkienBoardGames #TolkienCollection
So I thought I would do a thread of some of my #Tolkien stamp items, adding a cryptic hint of a possible upcoming article 🙂 So first up is a New Zealand Royalpex Exhibition exclusive mini sheet of the new 20th Anniversary of the Movie stamps #TolkienStamps #TolkienCollection
This is a UK Royal Mail First Day Cover featuring a gutter pair of the Magical Worlds Hobbit stamp with a Sarehole Mill postmark #TolkienStamps #Tolkien #TolkienCollection
Here we have a pair of limited edition Tolkien Society First Day Covers of the UK Lord of the Rings 50th Anniversary Stamps #TolkienStamps #Tolkien #TolkienCollection
Here is another set of covers which together form a total picture. These are the cassette covers of the 2000 issue of the fantastic BBC Lord of the Rings Dramatisation. The stylised images link to show the full LOTR journey #Tolkien #TolkienCollection
I have enough copies of this 1980s Lord of the Rings paperback trilogy to show the full Roger Garland landscape art which goes across the back, spine and front covers of all three books. It’s a shame the barcodes on the backs are so big #Tolkien #TolkienCollection
