The Spectator reports that the terrible Sayeeda Warsi is frontrunner for Labour’s "anti-Muslim hostility" tsar.
Sayeeda previously blamed Israel defending itself for Houthi terrorists attacking cargo ships.
She has attempted to downplay the link between race and religion in the Pakistani rape gangs. Even accusing others of whipping of "hate."
She supported the “coconut” slur being used against other ethnic minorities.
In 2006, she welcomed the election of Hamas.
We don’t need a tsar at all and certainly not one who is such a naive and toxic individual.

What a complete mess. I wish Martin Lewis would butt out of the energy debate. His obsession with the retail side of the market distracts attention from the structural problems caused by domestic energy policy.
Worse, by focusing so much attention on how bills are presented and how costs are distributed between consumers, he is helping to create political incentives to manage the symptoms rather than tackle the underlying causes. Ministers can claim to be helping households while leaving the policies responsible for driving up costs largely untouched.

Andrew Mitchell genuinely believes that sending our money abroad keeps us safe.
We’ve had countless examples of murderers, rapists and terrorists arriving to the UK on small boats, lorries and at times, even being granted citizenship and living in social housing.
Out of touch.
My views on intentional spending are well known and long established.
International development spending makes people ‘over there’ safer and more prosperous.
That, in turn, means that problems from ‘over there’ don’t come ‘over here’.
It is the other side of the coin from defence. It’s about our national security and it’s spent in our national interest.

This is exactly what happens when liberals are confronted with facts and people who know what they're talking about. She can't handle it so she just walks away.
Somebody who lived under the Islamic Republic is telling her what's happening and she just can't handle it. She doesn't want to hear the truth! He just destroyed her entire narrative and the only thing she can think of is to run away.

Business idea.
I don’t want to subscribe to the New Yorker.
I live in Stratford on Avon and subscribe to the Spectator and Smash Hits.
The idea:
Sell articles for 10p
Create a universal media wallet you charge up and you can buy single articles from magazines, sub stacks and blogs, pods. When the wallet is empty you fill it up again.
If this gains support I’ll start one!
Surely this is one of the most amazing pieces of journalism ever written. I'm not kidding. I am in awe. You will be too. Read it:

You want to talk Nazi-adjacent? Your side just released an ad blaming Jews for the country's economic hardship.
John Oliver: “It does feel that the Republican Party has been getting way too comfortable with some, at best, Nazi-adjacent sh*t.”
“Nazis getting power doesn’t historically bode well for anyone, including, for what it’s worth, Nazis, who didn’t exactly have the best 1945.”

Replying to @Variety
Graham Platner, whose actual nazi tattoo was *not* enough for Democrats to kick him to the curb, has entered the chat.
What a tedious, predictable little man.

Nothing highlights the fiscal failure of this government more starkly than the plight of Poundland. The chain's 600 stores and 12,000 workers sit on the verge of collapse, not because its customers have walked away - Poundland's sales grew by 6.7% in September - but because of this government's unaffordable tax rises, which makes it impossible to run a business that works on slim profit margins to keep its prices down for its customers. How ironic that a government preaching about helping the least well-off is forcing a company out of business that does just that.

THIS MORNING!
His ears cut off.
Beaten.
Shot in the back.
Stabbed.
This morning, cattle farmer Donovan Marx was viciously attacked on his farm between Potchefstroom and Ventersdorp in the North West. He was severely beaten. His ears were cut off. He was shot in the back/shoulder (doctors were still trying to remove the bullet) and stabbed in the leg with a sharp object. He’s fighting for his life in a Potchefstroom hospital.
A family member left the farm shortly before 8am. Attackers then struck. A farm worker was tied up but managed to free himself and raise the alarm. The attackers fled in Marx’s truck. They’re still free. VF Plus says the full details of the torture are so disturbing they won’t even publish them.
This is not “ordinary crime.” This is the same pattern of extreme brutality; ears severed, severe beatings, shootings, stabbings that has been targeting White farmers for years. English media is already silent. No front-page outrage. No presidential condemnation. If the roles were reversed, it would dominate news for weeks.
