Didn’t see that coming for Morton tonight, hopefully just a bump in the road.

Match report and reaction online now @greenocktele. greenocktelegraph.co.uk/spor…

Quite incredible afternoon at Firhill so far. Morton lead 3-2 with 15 minutes remaining.

Ties to be played the weekend of Saturday, 28 November 2026.

Morton will travel to Annan in the third round of the Scottish Cup.

Still people turning up at Cappielow, suspect there will be a bit of backlash to how late the game was postponed. Currently hanging around soaked to the skin in the hope I can catch a bit of reaction. Understand a statement is to come.

Reaction from Cappielow after Morton end their long wait for a home victory: greenocktelegraph.co.uk/spor…

Brilliant first half for Morton here at Cappielow. Superb goal from Michael Garrity to double their advantage just before half-time. @GBRPhotos

Team news and an update on the managerial situation at Morton in tomorrow’s @greenocktele

Few rumours around that Ian McCall is set to be the next Morton manager, reliably informed he won’t be.

Some better news on the injury front for Morton. Several players have returned to training this week, while Chris Cupps is also back after starting for the USA U20s against Brazil and Denmark. Full story in the @greenocktele tomorrow.

Interview with Graham Barr and full interview with Gary Miller in tomorrow’s @greenocktele

When asked about the prospect of taking the job on a permanent basis, Miller said: “That would probably be the club you would need to speak to.”

Gary Miller says that Morton are assessing several injuries ahead of tomorrow’s game against Raith Rovers.

Michael O'Halloran hoping to be fit to play for Morton's game against Raith on Saturday. That would of course mean that Gary Miller will be the main man in the dugout.

And just like that, there’s the statement. Ian Murray and first-team coach Bill Orr have both been relieved of their duties. Michael O’Halloran and Gary Miller to oversee matters “until further notice”.

A club representative has confirmed that Morton will provide an update shortly. greenocktelegraph.co.uk/spor…
