I’ve listened to this trope since the day and hour I entered representative politics.
Ultimately, I’m committed to peace building, reconciliation and trying to reimagine NI for the better
Good to see you’re bringing something new to the conversation…..

My immediate concern is for those who work in the Health Service and the patients reliant on its effectiveness: both need strong, sustained evidence-based leadership and are now facing a period of uncertainty and confusion.

I strongly condemn the violent assault on PSNI officers in Derry~Londonderry this morning.
One attack on a police officer is one attack too many. It has to stop.
My thoughts are with the officers affected, and I wish them a full and speedy recovery.
A police officer required stitches to his leg after he was stabbed in Derry/Londonderry last night, Wednesday 26th November. Deputy Chief Constable Bobby Singleton: “Officers… do not deserve to be assaulted for simply doing their job.” Full details: orlo.uk/teSb8

I have always condemned acts of terrorism without equivocation.
I said so explicitly in my interview on Nolan (excerpt below), but political opponents omit that key part of the interview when they selectively post.
Politicking on such a sensitive issue is, frankly, grotesque.
What @dhoneyford says….
Alliance has always been clear, we work to unite our community, not divide it.
We don’t filter policy through the constitution, but through making life better. We’ll engage in any conversation without prejudice.
But based on better outcomes for health, creating jobs, bring kids together into the same classrooms etc. I work every day to create better relationships north/south & east/west.
But if the UUP spent less time obsessed with attacking Alliance & more time delivering, people might be able to get a GP appointment!

A pipe bomb was left outside the SF Offices of Liz Kimmins MLA and Daire Hughes MP.
I try and frame my political discourse in a grace filled way.
Sadly, it is not always the case in today’s political arena.

Shocking incident but glad of no injuries.
Any information should be passed onto the PSNI.

The recent fires in our rural areas are devastating the environment and endangering lives.
Those intentionally setting fires in these areas must be held accountable for their actions.
