In November 2012, published Nov. 25 on the Egyptian site Al-Ahram Gate, 46 people identifying as “leaders of the Egyptian community” in the US signed a statement supporting Mohamed Morsi who was the newly elected Egyptian president and a longtime Muslim Brotherhood figure
The 33rd signature was listed as “Dr. Abdul Rahman El-Sayed” of New York. This is Abdul El-Sayed. The New York Times has confirmed he signed it while in medical school
In the months that followed Egyptian authorities pursued journalists on charges including “insulting Islam” and “insulting the president.”

“Army Lieutenant General Brett Sylvia, who was part of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was fired by Secretary Hegseth for severe misconduct. Although Sylvia’s title was director of the Directorate for Strategy, Plans, and Policy at the Joint Chiefs of Staff, known inside the military as the J5, he was NOT a central planner for the Iran War. That is the responsibility of CENTCOM and its commander Admiral Cooper.
Sylvia is the subject of an investigation for leaking classified information about the Iran War, the war between Russia and Ukraine, and more. Due to the Pentagon’s media policy requiring journalists to have escorts in the building, Sylvia began meeting with journalists outside of the Pentagon in order to leak classified information.
Sylvia failed three polygraphs which questioned him about leaking classified information. The investigation into him remains ongoing and has been referred to the Department of Justice for further action. The extent of his leaking became so critical that Secretary Hegseth took immediate action and fired Sylvia in order to protect national security. Urgent action was needed and could not wait another second.”

Thank you for blessing Americans and the world with such an incredible place like California.
We see your beauty in every sunset. We see your glory in the ocean and the mountains and the beautiful and vast city skylines that man was able to build with your inspiration and blessings.
We will pray for your spirit on California tonight and this week and next week leading into the election.
You have called us to love each other and stand up for what is right so I pray that we all take responsibility for this place that has fallen so far and do our part to PRAY and VOTE and CLAIM the transformation you have at the ready for us.
We have the faith. We are ready to do your will.
We are SO ENTHUSIASTIC AND READY to claim California back for you and for the USA and everything it was meant to be. The opportunities here are VAST.

The city of HB has announced the preemptive closure of portions of PCH tomorrow between 0800–1200 due to flooding concerns from the high tide.

PCH CLOSURE TOMORROW | HIGH TIDES EXPECTED
Higher tides similar to the conditions experienced in Sunset Beach and Huntington Harbour today are expected tomorrow morning, Tuesday, October 27.
As a precaution and to keep everyone safe on the road, Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) will be closed between Warner Ave and Anderson St from 8 a.m. to noon tomorrow. The closure will also allow City personnel, public safety agencies, and Caltrans to respond safely to conditions and complete necessary work.
We understand this closure may cause traffic delays. Please plan ahead, use alternate routes, and follow directions from public safety personnel.
Never drive through flooded roads. Today, several drivers tried to drive through flooded areas and needed rescue by public safety personnel. Driving through floodwaters puts you and first responders at risk. Turn around and find another route.
SUNSET BEACH AND HUNTINGTON HARBOUR RESIDENTS: THERE IS STILL TIME TO PREPARE
Sand and sandbags remain available at the following locations:
• City Corporate Yard: 17371 Gothard St. — Open today through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (EXTENDED HOURS). Starting Friday, regular business hours will resume.
• Edison Community Center: 21377 Magnolia St. — Available 24/7
• Warner Fire Station: 3831 Warner Ave. — Available 24/7
