The @sikh_coalition has released a statement regarding the arrest of Indian-American Bhushan Athale with a federal hate crime & for making interstate threats against the employees of a Sikh nonprofit organization.
Sikhs are one of the most targeted minorities in America for hate crimes, and have seen increased hate from Hindu Nationalists and far right actors.
