As Democrats, we constantly criticize the far-right for their incendiary and discriminatory politics, but we need to hold ourselves to the same standard. Hasan Piker’s rhetoric is polarizing and dangerous, and embracing him as a party is a mistake. I am disappointed that Minnesota DFLers are hosting an event with him here.
Minnesotans deserve a Senator who will work for them – not Donald Trump. It was great to join State Senator Lindsey Port and State Reps. Kaela Berg and Liz Reyer in Burnsville today to voice our support for @peggyflanagan as Minnesota’s next U.S. Senator. Together, we’ll beat MAGA Michele Tafoya in November.
Let’s go win this thing.

Yesterday, we gathered to celebrate the life of my sweet Mamaw Craig. I had the honor of spending time with her in hospice the last three days of her life before she died at 99 years old last week. She lived a life full of humility and love for others, and she will be dearly missed.
