I feel like we’re at the point where we should consider applying the Wallace Doctrine to Iran.
The regime is obviously severely weakened, so we just need to commit to pushing them to the breaking point. So we make all the logistical arrangements, prep the troops, then for 90 days we unleash the full (non-nuclear) force of the US military and if we don’t achieve some form of strategic victory, then we press for favorable terms with an Iranian government that would be irreversibly damaged either way.
