UPDATE—The ICE agent in this video violently attacking a U.S. citizen has been arrested for child sex crimes.
Kent Blacklidge was charged with rape, sexual abuse, and incest involving a juvenile.
His job for ICE was investigating child exploitation cases.
ICE wrestled Alabama worker to the ground & detain him for hours—he is a U.S. citizen.
Young man was begging & shouting, "I am a U.S. citizen"—but that didn't stop ICE agents from dragging him off to a detention center.
Not following due process hurts us all—and our economy.
His family said that ICE agents did release him after he was finally given the opportunity to prove he was a U.S. citizen—but only after many hours.
This construction site in Foley, Alabama was forced to shut down for at least the day. How many other businesses were affected?

The blame here is on Donald Trump, yes, but at a deeper level it's with the Republican primary voter, the heart of the cult of MAGA. They shouted "give us Barabbas" time and again in state after state. No one made the grown MAGA adults of Texas vote for Ken Paxton. No one.

I’ve come to think @elonmusk ended up doing Dems and progressives a huge favor by turning this place into a fetid swamp of feral right wing freaks where the most prominent members of their coalition post like cartoon movie villains and think it makes them look cool.

Fun Fact: Ohio, Texas, Kansas, Michigan, Georgia, South Carolina... all have voter ID laws.
So before MAGA starts screaming about Democrats stealing elections, explain how Democrats supposedly pulled it off in states that already require voter identification.

Vindication for those of us who said throughout we would have free and fair elections without major disruptions:
No ICE at the polls
No fruitless presidential declarations of "emergency"
No seizure of ballots or voting machines during the voting process
No major issues with 1,000 election monitors
No major disruptions at polling places
Courts block virtually all federal efforts to change voting policies and processes
There might be litigation battles over some close elections, but that's to be expected and courts will resolve these.
The Republican here, Mike Caruso, was arrested and faces five felony charges for the alleged sexual abuse of his grandson when the child was between 3 and 5 years old.
He still recieved more than 200k votes in the race for Palm Beach County Clerk of Court.

There are a LOT of elected officials that called Abdul El-Sayed a "jihadist" and "terrorist" that owe him an apology.
He is NEITHER of those things, but you called him that only because he's Muslim.
You might THINK it's OK to do so because "politics."
But bigotry is NEVER OK.
"I was molested hundreds of times in my bed, including the night before competing in the Olympic Games."
McKayla Maroney was 13 when the team doctor started. In 2015 she sat on her bedroom floor for nearly three hours and told the FBI everything, including Tokyo, where he gave her a sleeping pill on the plane when she was 15. It should have been over right there. Instead the agent went silent, then asked, "Is that all?"
In the video below, she tells the Senate about that call.
"I began crying at the memory over the phone, and there was just dead silence."
"Is that all?"
"My abuse was enough, and they wanted to cover it up."
It got worse. The FBI didn't write up her interview for 17 months. When it finally did, the Justice Department's watchdog found the report "materially false." It put words in her mouth.
While it sat in a drawer, the doctor, Larry Nassar, abused at least 70 more girls.
The head of that FBI office was talking to USA Gymnastics about a job with the Olympic Committee at the same time.
She settled with USA Gymnastics for $1.25 million. The deal reportedly carried a $100,000 penalty if she talked.
The agent was fired. His boss retired. The Justice Department reviewed it twice and charged no one. The government paid the victims $138.7 million instead.
Were those agents covering for a predator, or just bad at their jobs?
Elon is toast. Congress now has free rein to expose him as the traitor he is. He may be charged with high crimes; he may be pardoned. Three things he can’t escape: exposure, markets, and state-level charges. Congress should launch a lengthy investigation and curtail his ability to flee the country.

Imagine how shitty those Mar-a-Lago dinner parties are going to be with those lounge lizards in gaudy outfits with too much makeup & too many surgeries shelling out a million bucks a year to sit there and listen to that old fool whine & cry for hours that nobody appreciates him.

This is a fucking lie.
In Virginia, you have the option of “protected voter” status specifically to avoid revealing personal address. The Millers qualify.
She’s a liar.

What’s happening in Texas right now is a disgrace to our country. Republicans got curb-stomped out of office; now they’re trying to call a special session to take away the new government’s powers on their way out. THEY DON’T WANT GINA HINOJOSA TO CUT TAXES FOR THE PEOPLE because their big donors are demanding it go to them instead. Anti-American to their core.
This is bad. Sergio Gor (aka Sergei Gorokhovsky / Сергей Гороховский), who has been previously identified as a potential security risk, is now being considered for WH Chief of Staff or even Secretary of State!
NEW: With a Trump admin reshuffle expected, confidante Sergio Gor is expected to rise. 10 sources says he's laid the groundwork for months, with potential posts ranging from White House chief of staff to top roles at State - even Rubio's!

Please read every word of this, from Yuval.
"In one sense, the range of explanations is so broad, and the public rebuke so overdetermined, that it might make it hard to decide where and how to change course. But in another sense, the comprehensive character of the problem makes it easier to define: The problem is Donald Trump. And the way forward for Republicans must begin by putting Trump behind them and asking themselves what they have to offer the country in his wake." nationalreview.com/corner/an…

BREAKING: Virginia has just repealed its constitutional ban on same-sex marriage.
And codified abortion rights into the state constitution.
On the same night.
This is not a blue wave. This is a tsunami.
Pete Hegseth has been fixated on superficial things since Day 1.
-Changing the name of the DoD to the Department of War and his title to "Secretary of War"
- Whining about DEI and changing historical references on websites like the Enola Gay
- Firing top brass based on discriminatory practices
- Preaching a "warrior ethos" and whining about beards and testosterone
And all that doesn't even include leaking classified war plans in a Signal chat, committing war crimes in the Caribbean, mistakenly targeting a school full of children in Iran, and depleting America's stockpiles and munitions leaving us vulnerable to attacks.
IMPEACH PETE HEGSETH.
Like now.

NEW: Bennie Thompson, the top Democrat on House Homeland Security, demands DHS preserve its records, confirm compliance in writing by November 11, and produce all outstanding documents requested by the committee by December 2.
His letter warns of criminal penalties for unlawfully destroying federal records.
Stonewalling doesn’t erase the paper trail.
