This is how the Russian "liberation" actually works from the inside.
Maxim Davydov, a local collaborator and "deputy" in the occupied Donbas, gave a shocking interview exposing the horrific reality of the Russian occupation- the total lawlessness, massive corruption, and systemic abuse by the Russian military.
The response from the Kremlin machine was instant: right after the interview went public, Davydov was immediately arrested by Russian security forces. He vanished into the dark network of occupation prisons and will likely never be heard from again.
This is a clear warning to anyone who still believes in Kremlin propaganda: Russia doesn't bring protection, it brings a brutal totalitarian terror that eliminates everyone - even its own loyal servants- the moment they dare to speak the truth

1/ Murder and torture have become so normalised in the Russian army that they no longer attract much attention, a Russian warblogger says. Five years of brutality have resulted in the acceptance of practices that once prompted "horror and a normal psychological rejection". ⬇️

So apparently, we're going to have a bunch of Russians hanging around the White House.
Nothing to see here, folks. 🙄

After the Anschluss, queues formed at the British Passport Office in Vienna.
Thomas Kendrick, SIS head of station, issued visas by every loophole he could find.
My research shows that he helped thousands of Austrian Jews leave Nazi-occupied Vienna.

Watching people online defend Russell Brand like they’ve found a legal argument his own barrister somehow missed.
Four weeks of evidence, four guilty verdicts, and apparently the real legal experts were sitting in the Twitter replies all along. 😂

Power line workers in Kramatorsk now take assault rifles to work. Russian FPV drones come at them while they fix the lines, and they shoot back.
"Right now we're banned from moving around Kramatorsk without a weapon," one of them told Yan Dobronosov, a reporter for the Ukrainian outlet Telegraf.
They meet the drones "often," he said. "Hit or miss, it's down to luck."
They are not soldiers: "We came from civilian life."
Kramatorsk is one of the last two big cities Ukraine holds in Donetsk Oblast. The people who keep its lights on now work under Russian drones.

Log by log, we’re making winter warmer for animals🪵 Thanks to your support, we’ve funded 7 cubic meters of firewood for the Animal Help Cherkasy shelter. This means more warmth and comfort for the animals who call it home. Thank you for joining us in turning care into real change, one step at a time🫂
“I think he’s been bought”: Former US Army Europe commander claims Putin is pressuring Trump
“I can’t prove it, but it’s absolutely clear that President Trump is under some kind of pressure from Vladimir Putin. I think he’s been bought,” retired General Ben Hodges said on the German political talk show Maybrit Illner.
According to Hodges, Trump now has two options: admit that he is beholden to Putin or try to escape accountability by counting on protection from his successor.
“We’ve never had a perfect president. But having a president who is not only corrupt himself, but also allows others to be corrupt, is an incredible disgrace,” Hodges concluded.
Do you agree?

I worked with academics who published a tome on Russell Brand a decade ago. Because I had previously lived on Carpenters Estate, I had heard some unsavoury things about some of the Focus E15 women not being happy with his antics. I mentioned this to one of the academics, who couldn’t have been less interested. I was told it was irrelevant. Theory was more important. Let them reflect on it now.
Is this because the position requires a talking vagina?
Or are they just sexist as fuck, and shorting students in the process?
And pretty much announcing that female faculty are second-rate shit who can only get hired if males and competing solely on merit are taken out of the process?

One of the most shameful moments in White House history, presented to the world as a humanitarian achievement.
➡️ Above: Putin’s special envoy, sanctioned by the United States, welcomed and praised. Representing a president wanted by the International Criminal Court for the alleged war crimes of unlawful deportation and transfer of Ukrainian children. A transaction sold as humanitarianism.
➡️ Below: three mothers of Oleshky holding photographs of their children with disabilities, abducted by Russia in 2022. Four years later, they are still fighting to bring them home.
Ironically, these pictures were taken just one month apart in Washington, DC: the mothers at the Capitol, the oppressor at the White House.
At Emile Foundation, we work nonstop alongside these mothers, left to rely on independent organisations. We found their children. We verified their locations. We submitted complete humanitarian case files requesting their return.
Instead of an answer, we got this event. They silenced the mothers and gave a platform to the oppressor.
In a few days, I’ll travel to Ukraine to see these mothers again and bring the supplies they need to survive winter: generators, power banks and warm blankets. Russia has destroyed the infrastructure they depend on for electricity and heating.
These mothers are trying to stay warm while waiting for children Russia still refuses to return. How much more are we prepared to tolerate?
When authoritarian regimes can invade, deport, torture and destroy without effective accountability, impunity becomes an invitation to repeat those crimes. Other leaders are watching. They are learning what the world is prepared to tolerate.
We will not stay silent while the truth is buried beneath another PR campaign. We will keep standing alongside these families and demanding their children’s return.
Please continue to support Emile Foundation and donate. Your support pays for this work and helps us keep these families warm, housed and supported. We can only continue because of you.
‼️Please share this as widely as possible. People need to know who is being welcomed and praised, and what these families are still being put through. It is appalling.
