My own agenda is that the fact that a large percentage of OB/GYN in Nigeria are males might be a factor in the high death rate that occur during child birth. They probably minimize the lived experiences of these women b/c of their misogyny.
I know this might sound like an agenda, but I genuinely believe some of these male doctors on the TL minimising what Nigerian women endure during childbirth would never speak so dismissively or sarcastically about white women.

Stop it please you are embarrassing us as Nigerians 😔😔
There is absolutely no reason for adults to still be reading books when movies exist. You are literal wasting your time staring at paper when you could watch the same story in 2 hours. Imagine being a grown adult bragging about how many books you’ve read. Congratulations, you read paper for fun.

Male doctors are never beating the allegations (derogatory)
This is a lazy argument. Have you been on death row to know what a death sentence feels like ?? A death sentence means the person is expected to die unless something happens. Nobody starts pregnancy expecting to die, so what do you mean “it’s like a death sentence” ? Statistically, the number of normal pregnancy and deliveries far outnumber the number of deaths by a very very wide margin. How is that a death sentence ?? I don’t need to be pregnant to understand how pregnancy affects women. I’ve worked with pregnant women and a lot of them certainly don’t feel like it’s a death sentence. This thing is common sense and English language.

I really thought this would be me. It was my dream as a little girl but I guess life has other plans 🥲
Ngl, I envy people who never had exes, met in high school, continued dating, grew together, figured life out together, got married, and built a family together. Imagine your first love being your last love.

The literacy crisis isn’t that people can’t read the words. It’s that they can’t understand the context, infer meaning, recognise nuance, identify contradictions, or draw logical conclusions from what they’ve read
