If it's possible to rig an election for the Democrats in a state where Republicans controlled both chambers of the state legislature as well as the governorship, I would say that at that point the GOP deserves it.
I hope they do end up changing the flag and make a new version of this beauty, but updated to add miniature versions of its original version and of the current flag.
