Eine kleine Übersicht über den gestrigen Abend in Bochum, Empfang von #IM1 @Int_Machines Die Antenne der Sternwarte Bochum empfing wie bereits vor 50 Jahren zu Apollo die Daten aus dem Mondorbit bzw. später auch von der Mondoberfläche. Wir gratulieren !!!

I have never associated Saudi Arabia with volcanism, but it has the highest concentration of calderas that I have seen so far on this mission. Calderas are the sunken-in tops of volcanos that appears after an eruption. Is there another place on Earth with a higher number of calderas? Perhaps Lanzarote, where I participated in @esa PANGAEA course. Or perhaps Iceland. Unfortunately, Iceland is too far north to be seen from the ISS. Any other suggestions? If so, let me know and I will try to take some pictures. / Jeg har aldrig forbundet Saudi-Arabien med vulkaner, men det har den højeste koncentration af kalderaer, som jeg har set på denne mission. Kalderaer er de indfaldne toppe af vulkaner, der opstår efter et vulkanudbrud. Er der et andet sted på jorden med et højere antal kalderaer? Måske Lanzarote, hvor jeg deltog i ESA's PANGAEA kursus. Eller måske Island. Desværre er Island for langt mod nord til at kunne ses fra Rumstationen. Har du andre forslag? 🌟 Hey everyone, I am on mission again! 🚀 The BEXUS 32/33 launch campaign has officially kicked off! 🎉 Last Friday, a bunch of amazing students from 8 experiment teams landed at @SSCspace's Esrange Space Center. 🛰️ There's still a bit of work to do before their experiments take flight. 🧪🔬 The students have to test and check everything to make sure it all goes smoothly. 🤞 I do my best to support the students and I learn so much from them! 🥰 Soon they will be getting ready to launch their experiments way up in the sky on a #stratospheric balloon!
