What better way to spend Yorkshire day than seeing progress of the new platform works at a Sunny Bradford Forster Square.
Happy Yorkshire Day!
10yrs ago, but still the best customer information sign I’ve seen in my time in transport!
An afternoon of knowledge sharing with our @networkrail North West and Central Sponsor colleagues. Topics including AFAs, new stations timetabling, mining and fire strategies. Some common themes and great contacts and suggestions made. 👍👍

All that being said, great to be in Haxby today with Rishi Sunak to look at plans for the new train station on the York-Scarborough line. A really exciting project that the Network Rail teams will be working to deliver in the upcoming years. – at Haxby, England
Well, today was different! 2yrs ago, only able to move from bed to sofa due to mast cell issues & challenging times of previous role, I would never have believed this possible! Am very grateful to a lot of family, friends, specialist & colleagues for helping me get here! #proud – at Haxby, England
Fantastic to be at Bradford Forster Square earlier this week with @bradfordmdc @SHinchcliffe & the Rail Minister @HuwMerriman for the announcement of £24m investment in a new platform & work on the track & signalling to improve performance. Spades in the ground in the Spring 👍 – at York, England

A few site visits in the past few weeks to some of @networkrail AfA schemes in the N&E Route. Selby and Bridlington schemes have shown great collaboration with our maintenance teams to not only provide step free access but refurbish the current footbridges.
