Chef brain, Flyers fan. I can't watch a game without running food cost on it.
This is the sheet: seven costs, targets set before the season, lower is better on all seven. Every Kitchen Math card runs off it.
Pinned so nobody has to ask what Idle Hands means.
Foreign to me that folks assume it’s a vets versus youth thing. What are you seeing in the youth to make you think it’s them?
Yes, those teams were entertaining, even when they lost.
Two addons that could completely change World PvP in WoW Forever.
If you're planning to play World PvP in WoW Forever, there are two addons I genuinely think everyone should know about:
OVERLORD + WAR EFFORT
I've been using these during the beta, and after experiencing some incredible large-scale battles, I honestly believe these addons could play a huge role in keeping World PvP alive for years.
Here's what makes them so interesting.
1. OVERLORD – Giving World PvP a purpose
Developed by @TromaFR
Overlord turns the open world into a battlefield where Horde and Alliance have actual reasons to fight each other.
Instead of just randomly killing players, you're fighting for objectives, territory and faction dominance.
What does Overlord offer?
- Territory control and capturable objectives across Azeroth.
- Guild keeps and outposts to capture and defend.
- Player and guild PvP leaderboards.
- Honorable kill and objective tracking.
- Notifications about ongoing battles.
- Opportunities for organized, large-scale faction warfare.
Imagine your guild capturing an important objective, only for an Alliance raid to arrive and challenge you.
You call for reinforcements, other guilds join the battle, and suddenly an entire zone turns into a massive Horde vs Alliance war.
That's exactly the kind of World PvP I want to experience.
And there's more coming!
The Overlord developer is also working on a dedicated website, with plans for player and guild leaderboards and additional information.
Having an external place to follow the World PvP competition could make things even more interesting.
2. WAR EFFORT – Finding the fights
Developed by @poutinewow
While Overlord gives us reasons to fight, War Effort helps us actually find those fights.
It creates a scouting network where players can share information about enemy activity across Azeroth.
What does War Effort offer?
- Enemy group sightings displayed on the world map.
- Information about enemy locations and group sizes.
- Layer information to help players reach the action.
- Alerts about enemy activity.
- Shared scouting information between players.
- Kill-on-sight lists and scouting objectives.
- Integration with Overlord objectives.
Think about what this means for organized World PvP.
Your guild is defending an objective in Ashenvale. Suddenly, scouts report a large Alliance group moving toward your position.
You know where they're coming from, how many players have been spotted and where reinforcements are needed.
Instead of randomly searching for PvP, you're preparing for an actual battle.
That's what makes War Effort so valuable.
3. WHY THESE ADDONS WORK SO WELL TOGETHER
This is where I believe the real potential lies.
OVERLORD gives players a reason to fight.
WAR EFFORT helps players find the fight.
One creates meaningful objectives and competition.
The other helps players communicate, locate enemies and organize battles around those objectives.
And both become more valuable when more people use them.
Imagine entire guilds coordinating attacks, defending territory, tracking enemy movements and fighting for their faction across Azeroth.
That's the kind of World PvP community I'd love to see develop in WoW Forever.
4. LET'S GET THE COMMUNITY INVOLVED
Whether you're Horde or Alliance, a solo player or part of a large PvP guild, I really encourage you to give both addons a try.
The more players who participate, the more opportunities we create for large-scale battles.
And after seeing what's already possible during the beta, I genuinely think we're only getting started.
Huge respect to both developers for putting so much effort into making World PvP more enjoyable.

NOW I'M CURIOUS ABOUT YOUR OPINION.
Do you think addons like Overlord and War Effort could help keep World PvP alive long-term in WoW Forever?
And would your guild participate in organized battles over territory and objectives?
I'd love to hear what both Horde and Alliance players think.
If you know a World PvP player or guild that hasn't heard about these addons yet, share this with them.
Let's make Azeroth a proper battlefield again.

I’ve noticed that a lot of guys with NHL in their names consider holding them to their own standard “shitposting.”
Dude put folks on blast and couldn’t demonstrate the knowledge he was chiding others for lacking.
I know it's a broken record that a few of us like to keep putting on the turntable, but there's a kid in Lehigh Valley who could look absolutely amazing as part of the M&M line.

Matvei Michkov when asked about his two goals today: “We lose today. This is no good. We had lots of chances, [but] we need to score more goals.”
Perfect statement from Woll.
Joseph Woll on the #Flyers loss today: “I thought we played well enough to win the game. I don't think I played well enough to win the game and sometimes it goes like that. It’s disappointing.”
Winnable game? Yes.
Still a lot of the young kids looked good.
young guys got the ice in the third.
Goaltending didnt save them and that ok.
Rebuilding team is evolving, that's good.
5-4 loss in regulation, entertaining.

Barkey now out there with Bump and Foerster, too. Looks like Knuble and Barkey were moved up and Acciari/Couturier may have been moved down. We'll see if it holds.

The amazing piece of information is that @GlennJacobsTN and myself are friends. His political views are his as mine are mine. The hatred on this app is so sad. United we stand divided we fall. Everyone gets one vote. Make it count
The Kitchen Math for today’s game, or Look What Danny Did.

The Trade.
Flyers fans are keenly aware of Drysdale’s slow (being generous - it’s not all screaming and pot throwing) start, but have you noticed Cutter’s sub 20 goal, sub 50 point pace in the early season?
$13.5M on Anaheim’s cap. Danny did that.
