I know I'm a "Boomer" and an English teacher, but since when do Australians say "Noo" instead of the standard "New"? I thought it was ill-educated teens but seasoned journos of @theage are now using it. Does it annoy anyone else, or should I crawl slowly into my man cave?

Hard to think of a Brownlow Medal more deserved than this one. Congratulations Nick Daicos, just a joy to watch him play. Already placed three times, had to win this one or it would have been a ridiculous injustice. Have known Nick since he was 14, was a great humble kid, and he's still humble despite all his achievements.
