🚨 #ATFC 0-1 @unofficialharr2 🚨 Bitterly disappointing result for the lads this week especially given the level of performance last week but credit where it’s due Harraby got their goal and made it hard for us. In the end we couldn’t break down their defence and came away losers
🚨 @InterPirelli 2-2 #ATFC 🚨 A result we’re really proud of this morning against an undisputed top class side. We knew our performances this season have been worth more than our results so it’s nice to get this one on the board! Well played lads! ⚽️ @elltravers @ShaneDorward_07
🚨 @CurrockFc 5-5 #ATFC 🚨 an incredible game that seen us lose a 2 goal lead twice. Go a goal down and score a should be winner 30 seconds from time only to concede from the kick off. Great attacking game but suicidal defending done us today. ⚽️ @ShaneDorward_07 X5.
🚨 @bramptonfc1 3-0 #ATFC . The lads come away from our first prem game with nothing to show for the football and the effort we put into the game. A game with chances for both team was decided in a disastrous 10 minutes for us midway through the second half as we gifted 3 goals.
The lads all gave great accounts of themselves however we have to give a special mention to @chrisjamesCJ91 who on the most part never looked like he was gonna be beaten today by making outstanding save after outstanding save.
The Apple Tree Football Club are proud to associated with such a wonderful charity @DiabetesUK via the @bri58ho and the Lorraine Hough Tribute Fund. We know the amazing work Brian puts into the charity and we’re thrilled to be a part of it 💚💚
🚨 RESULT 🚨 #ATFC 3-2 @CrusadersMens . Another decent preseason win on the board for the lads with three really top class goals as an added bonus. The lads had to work hard on a really humid night. A little bit of handbags at the end showing the competitiveness of both teams.
Fantastic goals from @ShaneDorward_07 @BillG1992 and Ste Mal. Special mention to manager @DylanMckenzie73 who pulled on his boots for the first time in who knows how long and played a solid 60+ minutes 👏🏻
The fixtures are out! Last seasons promotion push was fuelled by the lads wanting the challenge of playing against the best teams around and I think it’s fair to say from week one we’re doing exactly that. Division new boys VS current champions. We can’t wait @InterPirelli
🚨 RESULT 🚨 #ATFC 2-1 @Dalston_FC . A thoroughly enjoyable game to watch, both teams playing a good possession based game of football. It was by far our best performance of preseason, we go on to the next with something to build on! Goals from @ShaneDorward_07 & @1991Shaun
🚨 BIGGEST NEWS OF THE NIGHT 🚨 So for the last month or two in true line of duty ‘who’s H?’ Fashion. The lads have argued, disputed, discussed and fought over who runs the @BoringRobbins account. Tonight ATFC Luke Shaw himself @PaulKidd90 came out and we all absolutely love it!
It’s the lads’ awards night and we have to give a massive congratulations to @ShaneDorward_07 for top goal scorer and assist provider! @MattyGreen1990 for players player of the year and @chrisgimbert for managers player of the year! 🔥& @1991Shaun Nonce of the season 👀😂
Asking for a mate.. If you finish second in the league and the team that finishes top bottles the prem and folds.. Does that make you the champions? 👀
Got the lads back out there today in the sweltering heat. Attitude was bang on and the lads seem up for the upcoming season!
On the back of Euro heartbreak we’re looking forward to getting back underway as we prepare for our first season in the prem with training starting back on Sunday 😍 We can’t wait to get going, and as always new signings are always welcome so feel free to give us a little message
Deepest condolences from everybody at the tree. Our thoughts go out to the lads family, friends, team mates and anybody else that knew him. God bless kid 💚
