Sometimes, the person you need to forgive most is yourself.
Self-forgiveness doesn't mean pretending you did nothing wrong. It means taking responsibility, learning the lesson, and refusing to turn your past into a life sentence.
Forgive yourself for the mistakes you made when you knew less.
Forgive yourself for the opportunities you missed.
Forgive yourself for trusting the wrong people.
Forgive yourself for not becoming who you thought you should be by now.
You cannot change yesterday, but you can stop allowing yesterday to punish today.
Learn to make amends where necessary. Grow. Then give yourself permission to move forward.
Sometimes, healing begins when you finally say: “I forgive myself.”

Rejoicing is not pretending that life is perfect. It is refusing to let imperfect circumstances have the final say over your joy.
You can acknowledge the pain, face the uncertainty, and still find reasons to be grateful.
Don't postpone your joy until everything falls into place.

🚨Maybe it wasn't to the 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲.
Maybe it is how things work in a 𝘁𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.
Maybe you just didn't know the 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀—and it's completely normal.
But never regret the 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 that you gave, have given, or are giving right now!
Good people attract 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀. And one day, while seated in your workspace or enjoying your free time, you'll realize why you had to wait before giving up on having a good heart.
I don't say you should give kindness 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆—hard pass! I'm saying offer kindness wherever necessary—if it doesn't cost you peace.
Remember what goes around comes around, and even if it isn't your turn yet, surely, your kids will 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗽 what you 𝘀𝗼𝘄.

You just know under his presidency, we won't have that culture where Governors (et al) travel ahead of him to go welcome him on Int'l trips and then travel back to welcome him back.
Very wasteful government.

You fell this morning, got rushed to the hospital this morning, diagnosed of cancer this morning YET taking pictures and twitting by 10:00am this morning.
This engagement agenda sha. Just know there is power in your tongue.
To all Christians, I sincerely apologize for the hurtful words I have spoken about God, Jesus Christ, and Christianity. I know that some of my words may have offended you and hurt your faith, and for that, I am sorry. I ask for your forgiveness. Please forgive me for any disrespect or pain I have caused.
This morning i collapsed and fell to the floor, and my mom rushed me to the hospital. The doctors diagnosed me with liver cancer. This has been a frightening and difficult moment for me, and I would sincerely appreciate your prayers. Please keep me in your thoughts and pray for my healing, strength, and recovery. 🙏🏽💔
God, I ask for Your mercy and forgiveness. I am going through a difficult time, and I desperately need Your healing. Please restore my health and give me another chance at life. If You heal me, I promise to dedicate my life to worshipping You and serving You faithfully.
Lord, have mercy on me, forgive me, and please give me another chance. Amen. 🙏🏽❤️

Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, Phyno, just to name a few, worked so hard to push afrobeats globally, their efforts is what newer artistes like Burna and Rema are enjoying today. Rise thru international collabs aside, Burna won't be where he is today without the likes of the above mentioned artistes. It doesn't matter if he sells out arenas, attends the Ballon d'Or ceremony, or even performs at an NFL half-time show, the foundation has been laid by older artistes and they should be acknowledged. This is like comparing Ayra Starr to Yemi Alade or Tiwa Savage because she made Obama's list of songs. It is much easier to do what Burna is doing now, compared to back in the day where Nigerian artistes had to work tirelessly to get any form of recognition. As a matter of fact, artistes nowadays barely put in the work.
Burna is doing well (for himself), but thanks to his colleagues.

I will sing, I will praise
Even in my darkest nights
Through the sorrows and the pains;
I will sing, I will praise
Lift my voice to honour you
Because your word is true
I will sing….
Hab.3.17-18
17. Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18. Yet I will REJOICE in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

You can drastically reduce your temptations by learning contentment and having desires around God's glory and Kingdom.
For too many of us, it's too easy for Satan to tempt us.
Our carnal ambitions and definitions of fulfilment and success give the devil so many options in his war against us.
Once we become obsessed with God and His glory, satan will have to work extra hard in inventing tools of seduction against our souls.
