Missouri is OPEN for business… and OPEN for AI 🚀
Yesterday in his 2026 State of the State, @GovMikeKehoe declared loud and clear: Missouri is open for business.
Then he signed EO 26-02 — officially putting us on the map as AI-ready.
This isn’t a pivot. It’s acceleration.

Honored to celebrate the 2026 Missouri Veterans Hall of Fame inductees.
These veterans answered the call to serve our nation, then continued answering that call in their own communities. Their time in uniform ended, but their commitment to serving others never did.
Through their leadership, generosity, and dedication to their fellow neighbors, they continue to make Missouri stronger.
To the inductees and their families: congratulations, and thank you for a lifetime of service.

Had a great conversation with George Jackson on State Gov Today about putting AI to work for Missourians. The short version: train your people first, and be able to explain how and why you're using it.
🎬 Lights, camera, action! 🍿
Recently, OA-ITSD Director of AI and Innovation, Tim Marczewski, sat down with State Gov Today and discussed how the we are working to securely incorporate AI in order to improve government operations and service delivery.

One satellite running a model is a milestone. Two satellites splitting the work is when it starts to look like a data center. The links between them are the hard part, and I can't wait to see how they pull it off in 2027.

The next phase of Project Suncatcher is scheduled for 2027.
We’ll send two satellites into orbit to test whether we can perform AI computations distributed across multiple satellites so that we can one day run more complex workloads.

Former Army space ops officer here, and I've said I'm bullish on compute in orbit. This is why. A command went up, a TPU booted, a model ran, and a haiku came back down. "Hello world" in orbit is never as simple as it sounds. Very cool milestone.

A ‘hello world’ milestone for Project Suncatcher 🚀
After launching our prototype satellite a few weeks ago, we’ve now successfully sent a command up to orbit, booted up the TPU, ran the prompt, and received our first complete response back on earth - a haiku!

I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model.
Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which we’re pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching.
We’re seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and we’ve strengthened frontier safeguards.
As we did with Argon, we’re going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!

A new open-source project claims to shrink vector database storage by 97%
It reportedly compresses 60 million text chunks from 201 GB to just 6 GB, with no accuracy loss in its tests, running locally without a GPU or cloud infrastructure

This is f*cking insane. Nobel Prize winner and DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis:
"One person who really understands AI will outperform an entire startup team
In 5 years, the people who build with AI will run whole companies with a tenth of the headcount"
In this 1-hour talk, Hassabis explains who survives the next 5 years and who doesn't
Prompts → Agents → Workflows → Automated Departments
Understanding AI doesn't mean typing better questions into a chatbot
It means chaining agents into workflows that run entire departments on their own
95% of people still use AI like a calculator, the 5% who treat it like infrastructure will run everything
Worth more than any $2,000 AI course

Gemini 4 Argon from @GoogleDeepMind is live on OpenRouter, via Google AI Studio and @googlecloud.
It tops AutomationBench (51.3%) and LVBench (91.7%) and ties for first on CWE-bench v1 (68%).

Gemini 4 Argon is here! It is our frontier model built for complex workflows across real-world software engineering, tested across Google's own codebases on real production challenges. There, we have seen an improvement in both developer velocity, with a 35% increase in agentic code, and code quality, with a 30% decrease in post-submit rollbacks.
Rolling out now to Google AI Ultra subscribers, try it in the Antigravity app and the Antigravity CLI. Get inspired with what you can build today ↓
The craziest part of Gemini 4 Argon...
1M OUTPUT tokens.
Not context... Output...
GPT-6.1 Sol: 128K
Claude Opus 5.5: 128K
Claude Sonnet 5.5: 128K
Claude Fable 5.1: 128K
Gemini 4 Argon: 1,000K 🤯
That's nearly 8x the standard output limit of OpenAI + Anthropic's frontier models.
Context = how much AI can read.
Output = how much it can generate + work through in one run.
1M output means much longer coding, research and agent workflows without stopping and restarting.
It's a big deal.
