Η Τουρκία εξακολουθεί να αντιτίθεται επίμονα στην ανάληψη της προεδρίας του ΟΑΣΕ από την Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία για το 2027. Κι όμως, μόλις το 2024, η Αθήνα είχε στηρίξει ενεργά την ανάδειξη του Τούρκου διπλωμάτη Φεριντούν Σινιρλίογλου, ο οποίος έχει συνδεθεί με την προώθηση των τουρκικών αναθεωρητικών διεκδικήσεων της «Γαλάζιας Πατρίδας», στη θέση του Γενικού Γραμματέα του ίδιου Οργανισμού, με τη Λευκωσία να διευκολύνει την εκλογή του, αποφεύγοντας να ασκήσει βέτο.
Η Κύπρος δεν εμπόδισε την εκλογή του Τούρκου υποψηφίου, αλλά η Τουρκία εμποδίζει την ανάληψη της προεδρίας από την Κύπρο. Μια ακόμη χαρακτηριστική περίπτωση της ασύμμετρης «αμοιβαιότητας» που συνοδεύει τη διπλωματία των «ήρεμων νερών», υπενθυμίζοντας ότι οι μονομερείς χειρονομίες καλής θέλησης δεν εξασφαλίζουν κατ' ανάγκην αντίστοιχες κινήσεις από την Άγκυρα.

Στα #Κυθηρα σημερα για το μάζεμα της ελιάς. Επειδη δεν υπαρχουν αρκετοι διαθέσιμοι εργατες , βοηθάμε και εμεις .
Τα μεροκάματο ειναι 90 ευρώ αλλα και παλι δεν βρίσκεις.
Πολλοι με ελιες δεν τις μαζευουν γιατι δεν συμφέρει αν δεν μπορείς να το κανεις οικογενειακά.
Το ελαιοτριβείο αγοράζει το λάδι 3,5 ευρώ το κιλό.
Εμεις το κρατάμε ολο ,δεν πουλάμε.
Το αγνο βιολογικο αγουρέλαιο ειναι φαρμακο .

Απορώ ρε @thanosplevris για ποιον λόγο σου έβαλαν γκαζάκια στο γραφείο οι "οπαδοί λαθρομεταναστων" αφού κάνετε καταπληκτική δουλειά στην ισλαμοποιηση της χώρας...

Maher Al-Sankari, a Syrian Christian goldsmith, remains in captivity. His kidnappers are reportedly continuing to extort his family, threatening to behead him unless they pay a ransom of 120 kilograms of gold, worth approximately $15 million.
This is not merely a kidnapping for ransom. It raises a much deeper and historically familiar concern for the Christians of Syria: the systematic targeting of their livelihoods, property, and accumulated wealth.
Throughout history, Antiochian Greeks (Rum), have built their livelihoods through their own hard work, ingenuity, and perseverance, despite generations of persecution and discrimination.
They excelled in science, engineering, craftsmanship, jewelry making, goldsmithing, diamond trading, and the arts. Their prosperity was not handed to them. It was earned through generations of education, skilled labor, entrepreneurship, and dedication to their professions.
Yet their success has repeatedly made them targets of raids, confiscation, intimidation, and extortion. Demands for gold and wealth evoke a painful historical pattern in which Christians were treated as communities whose prosperity could be seized through threats and violence.
Today, the demand for 120 kilograms of gold raises the disturbing question of whether we are witnessing a modern form of jizya imposed through kidnapping and terror, rather than through any formal decree.
Surveillance cameras reportedly captured the vehicle involved in Maher’s abduction. Yet serious questions remain about the authorities’ response and their ability or willingness to bring those responsible to justice.
Maher’s life is in immediate danger if the reported threats are genuine. His family should not have to surrender a fortune to save him.
The Antiochian Greeks of Syria have contributed enormously to the civilization, economy, and cultural heritage of their homeland. They deserve protection, not persecution.

Η Τουρκία αντιδρά για να δημιουργήσει εντυπώσεις ή υπάρχει ήδη παρασκηνιακή συνεννόηση με τη Γαλλία για τις έρευνες του GSI;
Ο ΣΚΑΪ ανέφερε γαλλοτουρκική διπλωματική συνεννόηση, αλλά δεν έχει επιβεβαιωθεί δημόσια ότι η Nexans ενημέρωσε ή πρόκειται να ενημερώσει απευθείας την Τουρκία.
Η ίδια η γαλλική εταιρεία διέψευσε κατηγορηματικά τον Οκτώβριο ότι είχε ή σχεδιάζει οποιαδήποτε επικοινωνία με τις τουρκικές αρχές για τις επερχόμενες έρευνες.
