Schroedinger’s Emery: a man who is simultaneously both demonstrably not in the Europa League final and somehow also still in it.

We’re pulling up against Newcastle without our striker, without our back up striker, without our back up back up striker and without our back uo back up back up striker. Fantastic

Arteta has given me some of the most enjoyable moments in recent years. If you think I’m backing out now, you are mad. We come back stronger next season. My gaffer.

This feeling has been created on social media. In real life, this Arsenal team just reached the semi finals of the CL for the first time in 16 years, even after an injury ridden season with no striker. There is one 30+ year old in our XI. And the coach still hasn’t added the attacking investment. This season has been our floor, not our peak.
Got this sinking feeling that this project may have peaked and we've missed our tiny window to secure the league. Going to need a spectacular summer window to get us over the line AND keep us ahead of those improving below us. #afc

Six years away from the Champions League
Second season in a row in the competition that defines the biggest teams and careers, and reaching semis
If you don't see #Arsenal's progression is because you don't want to
Seven regulars return, 4/5 new starters and back to be one of the best teams in Europe
That's what I see @m8arteta is doing with his team

Prior to tonight Trent Alexander-Arnold was the youngest English player to play in a Champions League semifinal at 19 years and 199 days.
Myles Lewis-Skelly is 18 years and 215 days. Ethan Nwaneri only turned 18 late last month.
