I went to bed last night thinking, okay, I need to get my training videos from yesterday together and posted. My parents are out of town because of an unexpected family emergency, and my dad is always really good about reviewing what I put together and talking things over with me when I’m working on my recruiting videos. I woke up early this morning, took a shower, and started making breakfast. For some reason, I started thinking about how soon this part of my recruiting journey will be over. One day, I’ll pick a college that will be my home for the next 4+ years. As much work as recruiting can be, I actually really enjoy the process and getting great comments and advice from so many people! I guess it just hit me how lucky I am, and how lucky all of us going through this process are. Our biggest concern right now is what college we’ll get to play baseball for. It kind of puts things into perspective, especially on the bad days. I think what got me thinking about all of this was having to cancel a camp I was invited to this weekend because of my parents family emergency. At first, I felt like I might have missed my only chance and maybe even upset the coaches by canceling. But I realized there will be more opportunities, and if it’s meant to be, it will be. Thanks mom and dad! @B81Steph @JBrownCAtoAZ #uncommitted #uncommitted2028 #uncommittedpitcher #uncommittedbaseball @UncommittedWEST @UncommittedUsa @BUncommitted @uncommittedBBs @uncommittedBBs @UncommittedStud @BaseballCf @ArizonaBBNation @factory_fuel

Another great week of putting in work at Prime Reaction/Fuel Factory with Coach Zinger! Been really focusing on making my delivery more consistent. Working on staying aggressive toward the plate, improving my glove position, and keeping everything connected longer through my delivery. It’s crazy how much the little details can make a difference! Really appreciate Zinger for taking the time to break everything down and help me understand what I need to improve. Still have a lot of work ahead of me, but I’m loving the process and can’t wait to see it all come together this spring! Video has some pitch work along with the drills we’re using to build better habits. Always working to get better! @factory_fuel @ArizonaBBNation #uncommitted #uncommitted2028 #uncommittedpitcher #uncommittedbaseball #TrustTheProcess

1/ A federal appeals court ruled for the NCAA today in Wisne v. NCAA. The 10th Circuit reversed and vacated the nationwide injunction that had given 2022 high school graduates another season of eligibility. Here is what it means for baseball families. 🧵 2/ What the court said: the athletes did not plausibly define the labor market. Student-athletes are recruited by individual programs, not by all of Division I combined. Without a workable market, the antitrust claim could not move forward. 🧵 3/ What changes right now: very little. The injunction had been on hold since Aug. 21. Class of 2022 athletes relying only on Wisne were already ineligible for this season.🧵 4/ What is not over: the case goes back to the district court, and the players can ask the full 10th Circuit for a rehearing. Individual state-court cases continue. For the 2022 class, eligibility is now decided one athlete at a time.🧵 5/ If your son is a 2022 grad hoping to play in spring 2027, talk with your school's compliance office and, if needed, an attorney. Do not rely on a headline or a group chat.🧵 6/ If your son is a 2027 or 2028 recruit, fewer returning 2022 players means a little less pressure on roster spots during the transition. It does not remove that pressure.🧵 7/ Nothing changed about the age-based clock. Two facts still decide every eligibility question: the date of first full-time college enrollment, and whether your student-athlete turns 19 before or after Sept. 1. 🧵 8/ Baseball families, do not make a permanent decision from a temporary headline. Stay informed, ask compliance, and choose, don't chase.🧵

A couple weeks ago, I traveled to Southern California with my high school team and got the opportunity to pitch against Mater Dei High School! 4 IP | 2 H | 1 ER | 3 BB | 2 K Mater Dei is ranked #18 in CIF, so getting to compete against one of the top teams in California was a great experience! I had a lot of fun competing and learned a lot about what I need to keep working on to continue my development as a pitcher. Sorry for the longer video than usual, but wanted to share my outing! #uncommitted #uncommitted2028 #UncommittedPitcher #UncommittedPitcher2028 @CWolfBaseball @UncommittedUsa @BUncommitted @uncommittedBBs @TopPreps @UncommittedStud @BaseballCf @UncommittedUTR @ArizonaBBNation Advisor: @SbrantiSportsG

Had to battle and put in some work today at the WWBA Underclass World Series! The mound was pretty rough, they used soft dirt for filler but I did my best to adapt, compete, and focus on getting the job done. vs : Wildcatters National 2028 85-87|T88 14 BF| 3 K| 3 BB| 2 H| 1ER

Love seeing the development part of the game! @Paxton_Brown09!
Great training session with John and Zack at Prime Reaction/Fuel Factory! Worked on keeping momentum towards the plate, getting my glove up and holding close longer. Really loved working with them both as they really dove into the movements so I can fine tune my mechanics! Excited to continue to work on this to be fully prepared for spring! First pitches in the video are slurve, changeup, fastball (not full velo). Next parts are the drills to help create the habits needed. Last video hitting 89.4mph for my last pitch of the training. Watch to the end! @factory_fuel @ArizonaBBNation

This right here! Deep breath, slow down your pace, make your mental adjustments and crush a cookie!
Hitters: stop saying the pitcher throws too slow. Slow pitching is a timing problem, and timing is YOUR job. Spread out. Move up in the box. Think the other way. Dial in your timing on deck. Do not complain. Be a better competitor than that.

⚾️ CATCHERS ⚾️ One of the best catcher videos? A game clip showing you: Receive a pitch → block → recover → make a throw → communicate with your pitcher. Why? Because catching is about much more than arm strength. Coaches recruit LEADERS behind the plate.

We're seeing a lot of decommitments in college baseball. I think it's important to understand WHY. This didn't happen overnight. Follow the dominoes. 👇 2020: COVID. The NCAA grants spring athletes an additional year of eligibility. Players stay in college longer. Rosters get older. Opportunities for incoming freshmen become more competitive. Then the professional pipeline changes. MLB cuts its draft from 40 rounds to 20. Affiliated minor league teams shrink from 162 to 120. Fewer traditional opportunities to enter professional baseball. Now look at the roster math. Before COVID, D1 baseball operated with a 35-man roster limit. During the eligibility crunch, temporary allowances eventually expanded rosters to 40 players. Beginning in 2025-26, programs participating in the House settlement moved to a 34-man roster limit, with exceptions for certain players. That's SIX fewer standard roster spots compared to the temporary 40-man allowance. Now add the transfer portal. Nearly 2,700 D1 baseball players entered the portal during the June 2026 window alone. Programs have access to thousands of experienced college players competing for opportunities. Throw in NIL, revenue sharing, and the shift from the old 11.7-scholarship model to the possibility of funding scholarships across all 34 roster spots at participating programs. And now the NCAA's new age-based eligibility model can allow qualifying athletes up to FIVE years of competition within a continuous five-year window, replacing the traditional four-seasons-in-five-years model. Think about what all of this means. A college coach can genuinely believe in a high school prospect when he commits. But by the time that player arrives on campus, the roster, budget, available transfer talent, and immediate needs of the program could look completely different. College baseball has become an increasingly competitive roster-management business. And the pressure to WIN NOW is real. Does that excuse every decommitment? Absolutely not. But I also don't believe every decommitment represents a lack of loyalty. Here's what concerns me most. We're asking teenagers and their families to make decisions about their futures in a system that can change dramatically before they ever step foot on campus. The rules changed. The economics changed. The roster math changed. But the hopes and dreams of those kids haven't. And somewhere in the middle of all this change, we cannot lose sight of the people affected by it. @prepbaseball

CATCHERS Catchers: Blocking is recruiting footage too. Show 4-6 game-speed blocks: - Straight down - Glove side - Arm side - Recovering quickly Anyone can look good catching perfect strikes. Show coaches what you do when the pitch ISN’T perfect. #Catching #CollegeBaseball I

CATCHERS A catcher’s receiving video should include different pitches. Show yourself receiving: • Fastballs • Breaking balls • Pitches down • Pitches inside • Pitches outside College coaches want to see quiet hands, body control and how well you present pitches.

Players Before you start baseball specific weight lifting workouts. You need a base level of strength. A base level of strength revolves around old school lifts like bench press, squats, leg press, etc. The majority of high school and even college players can't understand how physical (strong) major league players are. They better not be listening to the dumb dumbs telling them not to lift heavy weight and to not bench press. Creating a base level of strength requires both. Lift like a linebacker. Eat like a lineman. Baseball specific workouts are for players that are already incredibly strong.
