Imagine apologizing for praying 🙏 for the President of the United States of America! 🇺🇸
Archbishop Grob, apologizing for praying with and for the President is a failure of your office. Scripture does not give you the option to treat prayer for those in authority as a political liability or a source of shame.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 commands us to make “supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings… for kings and all who are in high positions.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says “pray without ceasing.” James 5:16 calls the prayer of a righteous person “powerful and effective.” When a shepherd publicly apologizes for obeying these commands, he teaches the flock that God’s instructions are optional or regrettable depending on who complains.
Prayer is not a political act that requires an apology. Treating it as one is a betrayal of the very charge you hold. A bishop is called to stand firm on Scripture, not to retreat from it when the culture demands it. Be a man of God and stand firm and tell the nay sayers….of course I prayed over him, he is the president of the United States, and you should too!!!

Maintaining control of the House and Senate will help ensure that President Trump's America First agenda continues. This includes protecting rural America and supporting our farmers. #VoteRedMidterms2026

An Open Concern About Appearances: The Catholic Church and the Midterms
I am Catholic. I say the rosary. I go to Mass. Nothing in what follows is an accusation against the Church, the Pope, or any bishop. It is a concern about how things look from the outside, and how that appearance is landing with millions of Americans right now.
This administration created a Justice Department task force on anti-Christian bias, pardoned twenty-three pro-life prisoners, stood up a White House Faith Office and a Religious Liberty Commission, designated Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern over the killing of Christians, and cut off federal funding to Planned Parenthood. For a Catholic writer, that record is not nothing. It is, on its face, one of the most tangible pro-life and pro-faith agendas in modern presidential history.
In January 2025, the same administration suspended the refugee and migrant service contracts that had funded the USCCB and Catholic Charities for decades. Over one hundred million dollars a year. More than ninety-five percent of some program budgets. By spring, staff were laid off. By summer, agencies were closing programs. The money did not come back.
Institutions that lose their largest funding stream tend to find their moral vocabulary sharpening in the same direction as their budgets. I am not saying that is what happened. I am saying that is what it looks like, and that appearance is not going unnoticed.
Fourteen months later, in April 2026, the public statements from the Vatican and from American bishops toward this administration grew noticeably louder and more pointed than anything seen during the first term. Catholics see it. Non-Catholics see it.
And when a bishop speaks out days before a national election against one party’s immigration positions—which are prudential disagreements open to debate—while remaining silent on the other’s platform positions that contradict settled Church teaching on life, on the body, on marriage, the imbalance is impossible to miss.
I am not suggesting the Church holds a grudge, or that its silence on one side was bought. I am saying that is the appearance, and appearances are what most Americans, Catholic and not, actually see. When the institution that spent a year without its largest funding stream then directs its public voice at one party near an election—the very party that delivered more concrete protections for Christian life and religious liberty than perhaps any administration in living memory—the appearance is not of a shepherd. It is of a stakeholder.
That is the embarrassment I cannot unsee.

Choosing not to vote in the midterm election because you disagree with some decisions of the current administration is unwise. We must maintain control of the House and Senate to save America. This should be a priority for every conservative. Period. #VoteRedMidterms2026

When the GOP controls the House and Senate, our military is stronger, Americans are better protected and an America First agenda is prioritized. Grab your friends and neighbors, get to the polls and vote in the midterm election either early or on Nov. 3rd. #VoteRedMidterms2026

Please consider using your X platform to help America this week. I think it's the most important thing we can do. In my opinion, all conservative accounts should be encouraging everyone to vote in the midterms. Let's go! #VoteRedMidterms2026

BRING THE REDSKINS BACK!!!
The family of Chief John Two Guns White Calf is fighting to restore the Redskins name and logo.
While politicians and media pushed the narrative that it was racist, the actual descendants view it as a deep source of pride and historic representation.
Political elites called it racist, but Native American descendants are fighting to stop their ancestors from being erased.
The left always knew it wasn’t racist. They actually had ulterior motives.
They just wanted to erase another American Group and symbol from the planet!
That’s how they roll!!
