It’s finally here for you guys to read! State of Oblivion! Chapter 1 follows Gil’s father Edmund. Please enjoy! fictionpress.com/s/3362409/1…
The one benefit of the Ao3 shutdown is that thanks to everyone sharing their epub/pdf stashes I was able to find a pdf of a fic that was deleted a year ago before I could reread. 🙏😇
Never used to get TWD stuff on my dash, but it’s been impossible to avoid that spinoff on social media recently for some reason but after seeing what’s apparently been going down in it, I’m so glad I stopped watching that franchise after Carl died.
Hot take but I don’t want Buck and Eddie to hyphen or have both be Diaz. If its just their legal names, sure, but there’s no way they can both be E. Diaz or E. Buckley-Diaz on their turnouts and Buck Diaz sounds so off (and I think Buck would drop Evan if he dropped Buckley, bfr)
I had much more faith in the far left than they deserved tbh. Unserious group of people.
The Democratic Party should be ashamed of themselves. Literally committed a coup against their own voters and won.
So my stepmom— a MAGA—was complaining about 911 “making” buck bi and then she was like “your sister thinks buck and Eddie should get together and I be okay with it if it were them” you heard it here folks even the homophobic trump supporters want buddie. Truly transcendent.
Just saw ballad of songbirds and snakes (I had covid opening week so I had to wait to watch it) and as I was walking out of the theater catching fire was on in the lobby lmao
“These drones aren’t very good” made the room chuckle. My only “major” complaint was making clemensia bad during the snake scene and cutting where coryo learns the bite wasn’t venomous. My stepmom and dad didn’t understand that scene at all because they didn’t read the books

Sejanus Plinth: You can take him out of the District, but he’ll never be Capitol. #TheHungerGames - in theaters & IMAX November 17.
Sejanus had no screen time in either trailer and he still stands out among the rest. Love that for him 🥰
I think it’s a better trailer than the other one. Still not enough Sejanus tho
Witness the rise of power. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes - in theaters & IMAX November 17. #TheHungerGames
I love how everyone in the comments is talking about the brutality of starting at that scene and yeah cinematography genius and all but “wannabe nepo baby” is the best part of this 💀
1. Sejanus
2. (Besides Lucy Gray) Teslee
3. The show’s not over until the mockingjay sings
4. The Hanging Tree backstory
As we wrap up The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes portion of our Official Hunger Games Book Club, we want to know your favorites! Thank you to all of our book club members this Summer! Get ready for more Hunger Games this Fall! #TheHungerGames
When will the myth that gale and Katniss were supposed to be cousins and that Collins was forced to write the love triangle die?
15.5k likes on that sourceless post. I swear that no one who believes that crap actually understood the books themes at all because the metaphor the love triangle represents was well-embedded in the themes of the entire series
