Halperin: Republicans say the Trump rallies have been boosting Republican candidates in private GOP internal polling. If Rs overperform and keep some of those red seats, these rallies are a major factor behind that.

I am a proud and loyal Democrat. I served in President Clinton’s National Security Council and worked for Madeleine Albright at the State Department. I ran for Congress as a Democrat, have voted Democratic all my life, and expect to continue doing so. But I would never vote for Abdul El-Sayed. In my judgment, he does not represent the values of our party or our nation. I urge my fellow patriotic Democrats in Michigan to leave the Senate line blank or vote for Republican Mike Rogers. This is an exceptional case, and I do not make this recommendation lightly. We can support Democratic majorities nationally while refusing to support a candidate who violates our core values. Loyalty to our party should strengthen our principles, never require us to abandon them.

A Prayer for California. Dear Jesus, Thank you for blessing Americans and the world with such an incredible place like California. We see your beauty in every sunset. We see your glory in the ocean and the mountains and the beautiful and vast city skylines that man was able to build with your inspiration and blessings. We will pray for your spirit on California tonight and this week and next week leading into the election. You have called us to love each other and stand up for what is right so I pray that we all take responsibility for this place that has fallen so far and do our part to PRAY and VOTE and CLAIM the transformation you have at the ready for us. We have the faith. We are ready to do your will. We are SO ENTHUSIASTIC AND READY to claim California back for you and for the USA and everything it was meant to be. The opportunities here are VAST. You said if two or more get together to pray in agreement in your name and will, it will be done. THOUSANDS of us are here Lord praying, begging for this. We trust you. We take you at your word. We don’t deserve you but that’s okay because by the blood of the lamb we get you anyway. We can never repay this kindness. We just pray your spirit fills the entirety of California this week so much so that the demons that have plagued us run screaming into the ocean. We pray that our light from you is so bright it illuminates the darkest of places like downtown Los Angeles, Sacramento and so many other places the devil got a stronghold and made it a permanent winter. Please use each and EVERY one of us for your GOOD. For your GLORY. For your HEALING. For your FREEDOM. For your BEAUTY. You promised us all of these things and I come together now with THOUSANDS and potentially MILLIONS more to ask you to protect the vote in California and give us leaders that are decent, Godly, honest and love California and the USA. Leaders you choose for us that are right for this job. Free us from the death grip of communism and those that hate us and You. Protect us and our most vulnerable in this process. Inspire us please. Encourage us. Help us to be there for each other in ways we never imagined. To You be all the glory and power and goodness and freedom forevermore. Thank you for allowing us to participate in reclaiming California and the USA. We love you Jesus. In Jesus’ holy name I declare Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco and the whole of California and the USA PROTECTED and REDEEMED and REVIVED and FREE on November 3rd 2026. Amen.

Unbelievable. In this entire campaign, Becerra has put forward precisely ONE idea, completely ridiculed: "Do your laundry at lunchtime." He was Democrats' 5th or 6th choice. A lazy, arrogant nonentity, no campaign, taking voters for granted, total 🤡 Don't put up with it. VOTE!
It’s time for the California Power Hour. ⚡️ As Governor, I’ll launch a first-in-the-nation program giving millions of working families two free hours of electricity every day. Families of four making $82,500 or less will qualify - potentially saving hundreds of dollars a year. Cool your home. Do your laundry. Run your dishwasher. Don’t get charged for it. As Governor, I’ll make California’s energy work for working Californians.

Netanyahu hasn’t won yet, but Eisenkot has clearly lost.
Last night, the exit polls told one story: Netanyahu had lost, but it wasn’t clear who on the other side had won. This morning, the results are telling another. Netanyahu hasn’t won yet, but the change bloc has clearly lost. I’ve covered politics since the start of the century. I have never seen a camp organize for an election as impeccably, as efficiently and as energetically as the change bloc did. It signed model surplus-vote agreements, so that no leftover votes would go to waste, and ran an unprecedented operation flying Israelis home from abroad to vote. And by the actual count, it ended up with more or less the same number of seats as in the last election. Demography beat energy, and the message also proved flawed and unsuccessful. The public wasn’t convinced that the war had been a total victory, as Netanyahu claimed, but it also refused to buy the opposition’s claim that it was a total failure. It was repelled by Haredi draft-dodging, but didn’t think the solution was a minority government propped up by draft refusers and anti-Zionists. It was disgusted when ultra-Orthodox protesters chanted “We do not believe in the rule of the Zionists,” but it was just as shocked when “Biladi, Biladi,” the Palestinian national anthem, was sung at the Joint List’s headquarters last night. Netanyahu’s position changed completely between the release of the exit polls and the arrival of the real results. Last night it seemed clear that Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, a Likud loyalist, would be ousted and that, one way or another, Gadi Eisenkot, the former IDF chief of staff, would form a minority government. Now, by the criteria Eisenkot himself set, he has lost the legitimacy to form such a government. He promised he wouldn’t rely on the Arab parties’ votes, yet without a majority he would now need the active support of the Joint List, which looks futile and pointless. In post-October 7 Israel, there is no chance that a coalition including six candidates who lost immediate family to Hamas could last long alongside Joint List lawmakers who claim Hamas is simply a charitable organization. After the 1967 war, Defense Minister Moshe Dayan famously said Israel was waiting for the Arabs to call. In the same spirit, Netanyahu in effect told the change camp before dawn: here’s my phone number, feel free to use it. Yisrael Beiteinu’s Avigdor Lieberman, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Eisenkot now face a dilemma from hell. They can go to another election, one that Israelis abroad will no longer fly home for. They can try to join Netanyahu’s bloc on tough terms, breaking their campaign pledges never to sit with him. Or they can beg the Islamist Ra’am and the Joint List, now drunk on their success, for support. And one final note: for the entire campaign, we searched for a third bloc, a centrist unity bloc between Netanyahu and his rivals. Candidates included Benny Gantz and former UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan, former general Ofer Winter and economist Yaron Zelekha, former Culture Minister Hili Tropper and who even remembers who else. They all collapsed, evaporated or vanished. And now it turns out the unity bloc may have been the Arab parties all along. Their historic, almost hysterical turnout, at rates that will need careful examination, shattered both sides’ dreams of a 61-seat majority. It reminded Jews on both sides that, after years of division, they may have to learn to sit together after all. newsletter.amitsegal.net/p/i…
