To strengthen control over illegal activities across Varanasi Range (Jaunpur, Ghazipur and Chandauli), the DIG Varanasi Range has launched the Police Satark Mitra WhatsApp Bot for citizens.
Citizens can share information—completely confidentially—on liquor or narcotics trafficking, illegal arms, gambling/betting, women & child trafficking, illegal spas, harassment-prone spots, illegal mining, overloaded vehicles, extortion, police corruption, forced religious conversion, cow smuggling, cow slaughter
or any other unlawful activity.
To report, just WhatsApp “Hi” to 7839860411 or scan the issued QR code. The bot will ask for language preference and collect required details step-by-step. Inputs can be shared via text, photo, video or audio. The system is designed so the informant’s mobile number or personal details are not available with the police, ensuring complete confidentiality.
Citizens of Jaunpur, Ghazipur and Chandauli are requested to use the “Police Satark Mitra” WhatsApp Bot extensively and support the police in building a safer, cleaner, illegal-activity-free society.
