Happy Monday everyone! Additionally, on this special Monday, Happy Birthday to my badass sister @AshleyJSumner đ„ł
My only sibling and I have now shared over 3 decades together and went off to do cool things in different corners of the globe.. but we always come back together to share in lifeâs mysteries and help guide one another from the depths that such time and shared history afford.

As we all careen thru the cosmos at insane speeds, itâs no wonder we look up into the vastness and find reasons to slow down and appreciate the passage of time.
Birthdays, holidays, milestones of life⊠empirical or subjective, I find them all perfect excuses to break away from the daily patterned milieu we march to and find ourselves amidst the chaos of existence as humans on earth.
What are your favorite reasons to celebrate? Favorite holidays? Favorite birthday memories? How do you like to slow down and appreciate the marvelous gift of life? How do these moments inform your art?

Eternal life, the gift
expressed as all who
know fleeting time
on this earthly plane.
âą
To flow as the fractal
serpent piercing what
dawns shrouding veiled
starlightâs figurative form.
âą
Stacked singularities
branching the blessed
fury of humankindâs
collective self.
âą
To sense.
To be.
To Love.

How has your company culture shifted?
Iâve always loved seeing my employees take breaks for therapy, working out, or running errands. Weâve recently added a monthly team-wide wellness day to focus on what fills us up.

I look forward to experiencing this one day too and always appreciate how hopeful you are with the work you are doing.

Therapy once a week doesnât cut it. You need peers who reinforce the behaviors you are trying to learn. Work environments that cultivate manageable productivity & work boundaries. Access to food & medicine monitoring that helps support ur bodyâs regulation. We need more.
Hosting a founder support circle tomorrow on @wearequilt to talk through the traits that make us "successful." What comes up for you?
Join me tomorrow to listen in, share, or ask questions! I'll open the room at 2pm pst/5pm est app.wearequilt.com/ashley
