Families and children were encouraged to celebrate Toronto’s ‘Pride’ filled weekend as thousands flocked to different events in the city, including ‘Family Pride.’
“Family Pride is a fun-filled experience on the grounds of Church Street School. Here families can indulge in face painting, a magic show, storytelling, and so much more,” said organizers for a Family Pride event at the Church Street School.
The group had to remind adults that they were only allowed if they had kids.
“Please note that adults are only allowed in this space if accompanying a child/children 0-12 years.”

‼️Ottawa friends, be aware‼️
This afternoon, an observant member of the public in the area of Rolling Meadow Cres observed a large number of pieces of bread that had been scattered throughout a grassy area that is known to be frequented by locals walking their dogs. Inside the pieces of bread were pills that are believed to contain a poisonous substance that is harmful to dogs.
The Ottawa Police Service attended the scene, spoke with witnesses and collected a variety of critical evidence. City of Ottawa work crews attended to clean the affected area, thereby ensuring public and animal safety.
The Ottawa Police Service asks all members of the public to be vigilant and report any similar incidents to police. This matter is currently under investigation.

As a former property manager where the public always dumped on our sites and we had to pay for extra garbage pick ups. The city won’t do a thing they don’t care. All they do is come back on the business/landlord for over loaded bins or garbage left all over and fine you.
