A little boy saw a hurt kitten on the side of the road, his bus driver let him save it, and she lost her job for it.
Her name is Cynthia Morgan.
For 11 years she drove kids in Harford County, most recently to North Harford Elementary.
Parents say every fall she BOUGHT SCHOOL SUPPLIES for EVERY child on her bus.
Oh, and she also bought:
-> Christmas gifts.
-> Birthday cards.
All out of her own pocket, for all her bus stop students.
In one mom’s words:
“She is an angel. She is the most caring person.”
Then one day... in rural Pylesville, the boy spotted an injured kitten by the road.
He was the ONLY child on the bus
Cynthia stopped, he hopped off, scooped up the kitten, and held it the whole way to school.
On October 5th, the district’s transportation director sent a letter to the contractor that employs her and stripped her of her certification.
More than 10,000 people have signed a petition to bring her back.
Even freaking PETA wrote to the Board of Education TODAY demanding a review of the situation

A driver in a pickup strewn with open beer cans kills a child while driving 90 in a 50 zone, and is given house arrest because a robed political activist cosplaying as a judge virtue signals with an insane theory that the killer is an intergenerational victim of colonialism.
We need an absolute hard reversal of this poisoned, irrational jurisprudence. Judges like this should be removed from the bench. Law schools teaching that perps of violent crime are not culpable because their ancestors may have suffered an injustice should be defunded.
We must stigmatize the vile theory that violent criminals are prima facie victims by virtue of their genetic profile. It is profoundly illiberal, and more importantly profoundly unjust.
