I literally talk about this everyday and dream about this every night. It’s what inspired me to get online and talk about #StarWars ❤️ Those two droids meant so much to me in my OT childhood, and they still hold a magical place in my heart. #R2 #3PO – at Manhattan, NY

Billie Lourd has written a beautiful message celebrating her mother Carrie Fisher’s 70th birthday 💕
“Today would have been my Momby's 70th birthday. Which feels way too young an age to be dead for almost 10 years. She should have been alive for at least 10 more years - not dead for 10. The last birthday I got to celebrate with her was her 60th. I wish I would've known it was her last but you never know a last is a last. Birthdays are harder than grief anniversaries for me because it's a day that's supposed to be a happy day. And it's hard to feel the happy in happy birthday when the person whose birthday it is isn't there to celebrate. So I didn't wake up happy today. I woke up feeling really angry that she wasn't able to get sober so she could be here with us to receive the happy in happy birthday. This is my 10th birthday having to celebrate her without her and that feeling is unfortunately always present. So I try to give myself space to let that anger sit for a moment, then I tell it to scoot over so I can let in the many other feelings I will inevitably feel on this day. The next feeling that showed up to the emotional party was a guest who is sure to show up every year - my girl Sadness. She always tends to be hiding right behind her old friend Anger.
Being with my momby when she was at her best felt like home. A warm hug you never want to pull away from. What I imagine it feels like to be in a mother kangaroo's pouch. I miss that cozy sensation of what being with her felt like every single day and it breaks my heart that children can't experience it. But I have created my own version of it for them. And feel so lucky to be able to Carrie on my version that Carrie cozy. It wouldn't exist if she didn't exist. And I'm so beyond happy she existed. Happy 70th Momby. I love you forever. Thinking about anyone else who has lost someone they loved to drug addiction or anyone who has lost someone they had a multifaceted relationship with.
May you allow all of the emotional guests to attend the emotional party - anger, sadness, frustration, joy, numbness, warmth, (insert emotion here).”
The same crowd of bros complaining about “Anakin’s wrinkles” are the same folks pissed about the sequels not happening in time to still have the older OT legacy characters carry the plot, or were under used. Ahsoka S2 is both using these actors when they are perfectly appropriate to be playing the age bracket they’re playing, de-aging or not. And this is TV/Film, with some of the best professional working in the business.. the effects are in more than worthy hands, thank you arm chair directors. I mean, just CHILL and enjoy the goddamn ride, we only ride it ONCE. #StarWars COULD be a source of joy and escape for you, but all I see is that it enrages you.
It’s incredible! And still, I saw some man-baby, know it all, arm chair directing YouTuber “reacting” to the trailer yesterday…. besides the pompous nodding as if ANY part of what he was seeing or the artists that made it needed HIS stupid dumbass approval, it got to that thrilling point from the picture below, and he says “still wrinkled”. THAT is where his mind went. I wish I could remember the YouTuber, clearly I will never follow someone like that. There should be a study on these kinds of people.

Genuinely believe that nothing will ever match how this moment from the finale of The Mandalorian Season 2 made me feel.
Unexpectedly watching Luke Skywalker in his prime slicing through Dark Troopers in December 2020 was nothing short of magical.

I saw opening day of M&G and the crowd loved it. I went back the next morning at 9:30, and the place was full, lots of kids, families. I had the best time overhearing all the 7,8,9 year olds talking about Hutts, and Embo, and the Razorcrest, and Luke and Ezra… so much excitement.

Today is officially Star Wars day. On May 25, 1977, the world stepped into a galaxy far, far away for the very first time when Star Wars hit theaters. What began as one audacious film from a young filmmaker named George Lucas exploded into a cultural phenomenon that reshaped cinema, storytelling, and the very way we dream.
The world would never be the same again.
George Lucas remains one of the most influential figures in my life. With nothing more than a bold vision, a love for classic adventure serials, and a relentless belief in the power of myth, he created an entire universe I could escape into—a place of towering hope and crushing darkness, where ordinary people discover they’re capable of extraordinary things. From the moment the opening crawl blazed across the screen and John Williams’ thunderous score filled the theater, we were hooked.
At the heart of it all are characters who feel as real and timeless as any in literature or history: the brooding menace of Darth Vader, whose mechanical breath still sends chills down my spine; the wide-eyed farm boy Luke Skywalker, learning that destiny is something you choose rather than inherit; the fearless Princess Leia, whose courage and wit made her the true leader of the Rebellion long before anyone realized it; and the roguish smuggler Han Solo, proving that even the most cynical heart can be won over by something bigger than profit. Around them swirled a galaxy of heroes and villains—Obi-Wan’s quiet wisdom, Yoda’s playful mastery, the Emperor’s cold ambition, the loyal droids, the Wookiee warrior, the bounty hunters, the rebels, and the stormtroopers. They weren’t just characters on a screen. They became archetypes that shaped how we see courage, redemption, friendship, and the eternal struggle between light and dark.
What makes Star Wars endure isn’t just the lightsabers, the dogfights, or the unforgettable one-liners. It’s the deeper truth Lucas wove into every frame: that even in the face of overwhelming evil, hope is a choice. That family—found or blood—can redeem us. That the smallest spark of rebellion can topple empires. In a world that often feels chaotic and dark, these stories remind us that ordinary people can become legends, that good can triumph, and that the Force—whatever name we give it—is always with us if we’re willing to listen.
Forty-nine years later, that same galaxy still calls to me. It still offers escape, inspiration, and a reminder that the best stories don’t just entertain—they change how we see ourselves and the universe around us.
May the Force be with you. Always.

Grogu’s sequence in ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ was absolutely beautiful and really shows his independence and him growing up. Really well done for Grogu as a character and my favourite scene in the movie.
