A lot of questions this week on funding, so here's how a GPU typically gets funded at $IREN.
First, the customer signs a multi-year take-or-pay contract and agrees to a prepayment. On our recent 3-year contracts, prepayments have been 45% to 55% of the associated GPU capex.
Second, financing is committed, secured by the contracted GPUs. On the Microsoft contract we secured an A-rated facility at around 6%, which together with prepayments covers 96% of GPU capex. More recently, for a non-investment grade counterparty at Mackenzie, we secured financing at 9% fixed, which together with prepayments covers more than the full cost of the GPUs.
That's the GPU side. The data centers are a separate, long-term asset base, and we own the ones our GPUs run in. Construction has been funded from cash to date, with no debt against these multi-billion dollar assets. As they come online with contracted customers, they can support financing in their own right.
The processes behind the next facilities are continuing, and new paper will cost what the market charges. With GPU paybacks of around two years on our recent 3-year contracts, a wider spread barely moves the economics.
There's more customer demand than we can build for. As we noted at our recent earnings, 2026 is largely sold out, recent 3-year contracts are at more than double the prior year's pricing, and demand for anything we can bring online in 2027 covers it several times over, with prepayments a focus in every negotiation. Conversations on 2028 capacity are already underway.
Meanwhile announced capacity keeps slipping across the industry, which is the point: signing deals isn't the bottleneck in this market, bringing GPUs online is, and that's our focus.

$IREN (2W) - Lost well over half its value since the last top, and that's somewhat in line with other names we've covered. The real question is: where do we stand now?
Starting with the GEX levels for next week: the job is clear for bulls: break above $27.50, as the path from there to $30 is determined by whether we can conquer that node next week.
The $25 node that is the floor is negative, so it will not dampen our move at all. Strong ceiling and a loose floor, or what have you not.
Will be an interesting week, it seems, but we are not out of the woods yet.
$IREN (2W) - I'm back in $IREN, as my buy order at $27 got hit while I was at work.
That's how those orders work though, they just stand there being lonely until price starts flirting with them.
But boy oh boy, wouldn't this be a sweet sweep of the lows. Now we need a strong reversal candle next week, and we need that $27 to hold.
I'm very comfortable with this average on $IREN for now, as I think a 65% swing toward $50 is a doable target to start with.

$RKLB (2W) - We have a positive floor at $45 and a positive ceiling at $55, meaning both will slow down moves that touch down on those nodes.
Judging by the heatmaps, it looks like $50 is where we gravitate toward, and if that level is lost, $45 could come quickly, with not a lot in between to catch that drop.
The path higher is there, but it's more of a staircase that runs through $51 and $53, with nodes damping the moves instead of speeding them up.
Worth noting that there's an acceleration waiting above $55, but given the current environment, that's not really looking like a real option for now.
$RKLB (2W) - Sweep of the lows? Could be, or that’s just wishful thinking.
Anyway, we need a reclaim of $58.20 for that to come to fruition, and that’s what I’ll be focusing on for this week and the next.
It’s already a pretty sizable position right now, but a reclaim and acceptance of that level could make me hit that buy button again.

$ASTS - Looking at the GEX for next week, we can see the floor is set at $39 and the ceiling is capped at $43.
That means as positioning stands right now, we’re set to bounce around in that zone until they get tapped, but dealers will be looking to stabilize the moves as they run into those levels.
Daytraders can try a bounce off $39 into $43.
For the longer-term warriors, we now know where the weekly floor and ceiling are set, and we can monitor those as we go.
$ASTS (2W) - A -70% drop from the ATH, where does that leave us?
Well, broke and depressed would be my first answer.
But if we look at the chart, there’s a path worth outlining that has yet to prove itself but has a real shot, if you ask me.
I’m looking at $44-$36 as the landing zone, the bottoming area where we find our balance again, sellers stop beating the crap out of the buyers, and we rebalance after what was clearly a deep drop following a distribution phase.
I’ve added the $32-ish level as well, as that holds significance, and with markets being what they are, a nasty wick down there isn’t really out of the question. In this market, nothing really is out of the question, I suppose.
Anyways, I consider this a value area, and after that haircut both FA and TA are lining up again. I’ve added to my position at these levels, as I do believe Space has another leg higher to make and that we can see a year-end rally happening. Now, that’s not happening yet, and I’m playing that scenario by adding at these levels, which I think could stop the drop and be the region where buyers show up again.

DAN IVES CALLS AI STOCK SELLOFF A CLEAR BUYING OPPORTUNITY
Dan Ives says the sharp declines in CoreWeave ($CRWV ), IREN ($IREN ) and Nebius ($NBIS ) represent buying opportunities rather than warning signs.
Despite rising borrowing costs, Ives argues AI computing demand remains strong, with chip demand reportedly exceeding available supply by 13 to 1.
He expects 800–1,000 data centers to be built in the coming years.
His key message: Higher interest rates make AI infrastructure more expensive to finance, but do not necessarily weaken demand.
