The @atlantaalphas assembled to welcome the students at Booker T. Washington High School (Atlanta) back to school. Founded in 1924, Booker T. Washington High School is the first public high school for black students in the state of Georgia.

Rest In Peace, Casey.
It is with heavy hearts that the Atlanta Braves announce the passing of Casey Motter, the Voice of Truist Park. Motter got his start announcing his son’s youth football games in Peachtree City, GA. He joined the Braves as public address announcer in 2007, after former Braves Assistant General Manager Frank Wren heard him announcing a youth football game and invited him to audition for the role. A lifelong Braves fan and Smyrna native, Motter recently reflected on the opportunity to announce the World Series for the 2021 World Champion Braves: ‘It was a dream come true.’ Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family, and we share our deepest sympathy with Braves fans everywhere.

Please help us find Jobbar Bailey, 14. He was last seen on 12/25 at 6 p.m. near Ashley Creek Cir. in Tucker when he left to go to a nearby park but did not return. Jobbar is autistic and non-verbal with strangers. He’s 5’10, 140 lbs. with brown eyes & black hair.
