In 2022, after Jair Bolsonaro lost Brazil’s presidential election, Cerimedo spread false allegations of electoral fraud through his outlet, La Derecha Diario. Brazilian federal prosecutors later documented how members of Bolsonaro’s inner circle helped produce and distribute this disinformation. The campaign spread across social media under the hashtag #BrazilWasStolen. Now follow the connections: • Eduardo Bolsonaro: A longtime associate of Cerimedo who personally presented him with an award at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago in February 2026. • Brad Parscale: Trump’s former campaign manager, whose political technology platforms have documented business connections to Cerimedo. • Javier Milei: Cerimedo helped manage the Argentine president’s digital campaign. • Flávio Bolsonaro: In September 2026, pro-Trump accounts published paid promotional posts supporting his presidential campaign. One of those media networks has an executive who previously partnered with Cerimedo. American journalists: investigate these connections. Follow the money, the technology, the political consultants and the accounts amplifying these narratives. Brazil has already experienced what happens when fabricated election-fraud allegations are weaponized against democracy. Don’t wait until after an election to investigate the machinery behind political disinformation.
