Robert Wingfield

Wordsmith with more than a score of published works. I will follow fellow writers who follow me and help if needed. I don't accept politics, religion, anyone trying to sell me something or those bots without proper profile statements. #WritingCommnunity robertwingfieldauthor.co.uk

I'd like to thank everyone who is following me. I'm pleased to say that we are all creatives in one way or another, and repeat my offer that if anyone needs advice or encouragement in any of your work, please feel free to DM.

Republished and re-edited the Seventh House Trilogy in all three formats. Modern Gothic chillers of the like you've never read before (even I was impressed!) Including superb illustrations from a very talented artist. amazon.co.uk/dp/B08RDMGG67

Republished my view of the future. A dystopian thriller working around the development of artificial intelligence and fate of the world. 2034 Scared New World amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C8PDQ8JB/r…

Another unfollower - this one doesn't follow anybody, and I really don't remember connecting in the first place (wherever that is): @simplypeachie48 Unfollowed again. Shame about Unfollowspy closing down at the end of the month because of Twitter's new rules though.

Owing to a change in the system and prohibitive costs Twitter are now making it very difficult for users to find out who has unfollowed them recently. More evidence that the numbers of active members are being pumped up to fool the advertisers who pay them for imaginary punters?

Another four mystery accounts I don't remember following have unfollowed me recently. Still suspecting there are processes on Twitter to artificially boost the numbers of contacts. @KindCompasCoach @LindaJa17354730 @YvetteBaliko @BookishDynasty

If you have young children, one way to spend quality time is to read stories at bedtime. They will sleep better and feel closer to you. With this in mind I've published a set of animal stories with morals for adults and kiddies under 7. amazon.co.uk/Tales-Nannas-Ch…

Latest people who you never knew you followed. Methinks there are sinister manipulations of members afoot (which it is). Followers: R, Following: G Now deleted: @jesseRscott @RichardMason73 @CSmallsWright @chipmunkofpower (30k R, 937 G) @amydelaforce (20k R, 2385 G)

3 more potential bots removed. Don't remember following any of these. What's going on with Twitter? @BookishDynasty @Artfot0 (restricted account). @Scoutoftherings

My final book in the Dan Provocation series is complete and published. That's a full run of seven! Quite sad to see my characters leave after 10 years of writing. amazon.co.uk/Seventh-Reality…

Strange happenings on Twitter. Two more users not following: @thornberryjm who has been suspended for following reasons: unfollowspy.com/help/temploc… and @AlexWoodroe with no explantion. Unfollowing both.

Another puzzling follower. @CMatthewsAuthor who doesn't seem to follow anyone at all but has kkk or followers. A dodgy or blocked account? I've unfollowed.

Now I know that Twitter has dodgy accounts, with followers being added outside my knowledge @elonmusk please note. Just removed two people I never signed up to follow: @TylerNCreed @B_A_Durham

And more @JoeyGarrand @thewritingcham3 and finally a follower trying to sell me something: @_hyphens_ I wonder just how many false accounts Elon Musk has bought.

Other unfollowers that I don't even remember adding: @babebombz

Name and shame time-People who get you to follow them and then unfollow you: @Pratibha_Tweets @NathanJonesBook

Totally fed up with these mysterious unfollowers. I don't even remember following them. Is there something wrong with Twitter, adding in strangers to boost the numbers? Name and shame time now: @_hyphens_, @GreerRivers @EvanGuimaraes

There are some people/bots who have you mutually connect to get their numbers up and then unfollow you afterwards. Twitter don't provide any tool, but I've tried this free one to manage my following, and it really works! unfollowspy.com/ #tools #BOTS #unfollow

Nobody thought to mention this? Essentially, women can play football, and have inspired a whole new generation of kids to do something other than keep their noses glued to social media. There is hope for the world! uefa.com/womenseuro/news/027…
